In addition to having no sense of humor, we also have a well thought out TOS that applies to all members.
It can be found here. http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/faq.php
I would be very cautious with a thread like this. If you have issues regarding any infractions you recieve there is a process to be followed, and publicly discussing it is not part of that process.

Re: Infractions
Z&L, please take some friendly advice and ask a Mod or Admin to move this thread to the QT room, post haste. Really, just trust me on this one.

And for the record... when you see an old post from someone and it says BANNED under their names. Those are the members with the most infractions.

X2. O_o Seriously, though. This is not the behavior one should have when dealing with this forum. At least have the thread moved.

I was actually thinking that you did that on purpose, so I never said anything. I thought you were trying to be funny.

Re: Infractions
WOOHOOO I'm still infraction-less
SMITE ME OH GODS OF BP.NET :P
Sorry to go off on a little rant here this applies to everyone but I just noticed it in Z&L. Example its Lesson not Lessen they are two different words. It's understandable if English is not your first language like by me, but for everyone else there is no excuse. It gets unimaginably confusing.
Eh that's just me, I like proper spelling and grammar :D

Re: Infractions
So, uhm, great segue for my question... sorry, I didn't try search yet, but I thought since this thread made it so convenient...
What exactly does x/y (z) mean on the infractions count?

I will not even start on how crazed I get when people state "LOCAL"... as in, I walked to my local pet store... :rage:

Dude, I thought you only had that for a few weeks? Or is that too long for you?
Reminds me, the raccoon and the kitty are getting kinda old too. ;)

That's what I thought too, Till, until a few weeks ago... haven't really corrected anyone since. Gotta be careful.

Warnings (should really only ever be one or two of these ) / number of current Infractions ( total points those infractions add up to )
Errr - I think.

Re: Infractions
Derek your avatar is getting old too. Sorry bro.
And for the record, I only have one infraction for starring out one letter in a swear word... trying to make the word "less bad" resulted in making it worse... Sorry Bruce!

I generally refuse to acknowledge the existence of these socalled infractions.

Re: Infractions
I've been footloose and infraction free for a few months. I deserved em and I think I pretty much asked for one of them like Judd Nelson in The Breakfast Club. Oh, and yeah....Bruce is the man!

If an infraction-inducing word is non-English, can you still get an infraction?
Food for thought: In my language, the spanish for milk is a bad word. It is as bad as the N word.

In this case, yes. If the words translate into an English meaning that would be censored...if we figure it out...it will be infracted. However, we can't keep up with every single cultural language taboo...but, if someone used such a word in a way that it was obviously a personal insult directed at you and we were made aware, we would still step in and deal with it.
While the majority of our readers are English speakers, we DO reach an International audience and that audience includes children of many languages. The site should be safe for them all.

Wasn't meant as a personal insult. It's the only Dutch I know sadly :(
I can semi understand it though cause I am fluent in German :D

Re: Infractions
I thought an infraction was the mutant offspring of the interbreeding of closely related fractions.
