    I'm getting Irritated
For years now I've used TurboTax to file my taxes - with no issues. TONIGHT though, the stupid thing keeps asking me for my login, signs me in, moves to the next page and asks for it again and locks up. I can't get past a certain point (I'm 33% complete according to them).

Who do YOU use if you file your taxes online? I'm about to drop kick my computer right now, even though I suspect it's a problem with the TurboTax site tonight, and not my computer.

I had the same damn problem. Over an hour of my time wasted. Logging in (over and over and over), freezing up, just NOTHING working. Even after you get thru one page it goes back and asks you to answer questions AGAIN.
I am so sick of it.

Sorry about this, but we're having a temporary problem accessing our servers. We're working on the problem and expect to have it fixed shortly. Please try again in a few moments.

My dad uses TurboTax religiously! I am using a private CPA for my taxes this year. I did not get what I could for a refund out of TurboTax so I went to H&R Block, they got one over on me too. So this year I am using a CPA that I trust.

    That is just my experience.

I use an H&R Block office. I have too many dependents, deductions, write offs and earned income tax credits to leave it to a program that can't think around "loop holes". Just filed last week getting 6800 back from the federal return and 1200 from the state. Been using the same girl that works there for 5 years she's awesome.

I had to download a new broswer this year to get it to work right. They said the browser I was using was no longer supported by turbotax. I downloaded a dif browser and had no probs.

    Re: I'm getting Irritated
I used Turbo Tax a few days ago, and it worked for me, but there were quite a few bugs in it. When I wanted to depreciate an asset using Sec. 179, it would 'forget' to give me that option unless I pressed the back button a couple of times. It was a big pain.

I use the official IRS site. They walk you through stuff, and you get the pamplets like always, and you can even re-do the figures. And it's FREE, and you're certain it's the latest stuff, not out of date.
