Lemon pastel + Spider = Killer Bee?

Is this true? I want a snake that looks like this'

no I read that, but i have heard that you can get one by breeding a lemon pastel to a spider, is that true?

Pastel + Spider = BumbleBee
Super Pastel + Spider = KillerBee

super pastel + spider produces half bumblebee instead of 1/4, but you need a bumblebee + pastel to produce a killerbee

No if you breed a Lemon to a Spider you will get a Bumble Bee

A Lemon is just one of the different Pastel line.

So Lemon or Pastel x Spider = 25% Bumble Bee + 25% Spider +25% Lemon + 25% Normal

Pastel+spider= bumblebee
Super pastel+spider= more bees and the rest will be pastels

A killer be is a SUPER PASTEL spider, you need two pastels in the mix to make one.

No to be a killer bee the animal has to be a super pastel as well as a spider so both parents need to have pastel in them. :)

A killer bee carries two pastel genes and a spider gene, The way you get that point is possible thru several different breedings but what is always needed is two pastel genes and one spider, a bumble bee carries one pastel and one spider.

To make a Killer bee the simplest way is breed a Bumblebee to a Pastel

but yeah you're right...killer bees come from a bumblebee (pastel spider) bred to a pastel or super pastel
or of course another killer bee bred with a pastel/super pastel if you had that to work with hehe

you were correct that:
super pastel spider (killer bee) x pastel will make some killer bees
but also you can get some killer bees from
pastel spider (bumblebee) x pastel

OMG so confusing. What is the exact cross that I need to get a killer bee. In other words what are the two exact morphs that I need to make a killer bee. Sorry for my ignorance, I had like 5 tests today and only one period w/o a test. lol. 5 out of 6 periods were tests. AHHHHH!:P

That "+" would be referring to 2 diff parents, not diff genes in 1 snake like you just said. If it was diff genes in 1 snake then super pastel + spider would mean killerbee, but I intended it as one parent being a super pastel and another being a spider which would produce half bumblebees. The other half will of course be pastels. I think you typed your response wrong by accident because you had it right in another post correct?

I think this is a perfect distinction. x SHOULD mean what you get when you are crossing 2 parents together. And that leaves + free to be a list of genes present in one snake.

Unfortunately, not enough people will pay enough attention to what they type and what they read and you'll have people making typos, or thinking they are copying what they read somewhere else when they have actually used the wrong symbol... and pretty soon you have lots of people confused, as you said.

I still think this is a good system to use, but you might have to explain it in each post to make sure people are able to follow you.

exactly...I was saying that I didn't think you needed to correct him, because I thought you had interpreted what he said incorrectly
now, that may be wrong, and without a doubt, the + was kind of ambiguous
he said super pastel + spider = killer bee
I was just saying that if the + is interpreted to mean that it's within the one snake, then that would be accurate
but if no one is sure what the + means...that might get you into trouble
it's not a big deal though, and I see how I was unclear in my post- Sorry!

What I couldnt under stand is how hard it is to understand that a killer bee is a super pastel spider... you cant make super pastels breeding a lemon to a normal, so what makes you think breeding one to a spider will?
