Girl ran from my house

Ok, I have another funny story, yesterday I had somewhat of a date. The girl is really nice so I invited her to my house for dinner. I dont no about anyone else but I keep my frozen rats in a seperate freezer than my kitchen usualy. My small freezer went on the fritz so I moved the rats to my kitchen freezer. She came over and everything was going great, she had gotten up to get some icecubes and you guessed it, she for some reason opened the bags with the frozen rats, all I heard was Oh My God, she came back to my dining room and said she had to go. The poor girl looked pale. I couldnt figure out what happened until I went into the kitchen and saw a bag of rats on the floor. Was wondering if I should call her to explain or just forget about it?:banana:

Call her and ask why she didn't put the rats back in the freezer?? Tell her she wrecked your yummy dessert ;)

Now see, if it had been me unearthing a bag of dead rats in some guy's freezer, (and I weren't into snakes so I didn't know why they were there) I probably would have made a joke out of it to help with the awkwardness of it all. 'Prolly would have said something like, "Oh, (insert name here) how did you know rats were my favorite food?! You shouldn't have."

...But then again, I guess saying stuff like that is why most guys run from *me*. :D

Had something like that happen to my fathers girlfriend last Thanksgiving over here. She was helping out in the kitchen and got some thing out of the freezer and looked in the wrong container. Since then I now have written on those containers "Frozen Snake Food! BEWARE!"

I too believe some women are just too sensitive!

I would call her & explain they are for your snake(s), and that you had to put them in that Freezer since the other one was not working.

Poor you!!! I think my friends & neighbors wouldn't like seeing frozen rats in my freezer either.

I've found that all my girl friends (seriously can't think of one!) really don't care about any of my tarantulas/snakes/frozen rats, but the guys are the ones that get freaked out about it!

So currently in the fridge...maggots, wax worms, earthworms...
In the freezer...beefheart, bloodworms, brine shrimp for doing so.
In college so its ok, don't know how my rents will take to it when I come back for the summer.

haha i love this kinda stories. when i got my first bp i didnt tell the girl i was dating at the time cuz she already said no. she saw it in my room and ran in one bathrrom door and out the other threw the house and to her car and started crying and wouldnt come inside....

But as far as your suition. i would call her and ask her why she was being noisey and diggin threw the things in your freezer. lol heck with explaining. if she woulda stuck around long enough im sure she would have found out why you have frozen rodents in your freezer. but thats just me i like to tick people off

see now if i were single i would see rats int the freezer and start looking for the snake:P
but something simmalar happened with a friend(P) of my husband and his girl(B)

P was all cool with snakes, him and his woman came to stay with us for a while. They brought beer. P told B to put a few cans in the freezer to chill them quick. B went to the freezer and screamed!!!! I went to see what was going on, she had moved some things to make room, and had tipped over a bowl full of frozen mice and rats. She went outside and I told P what had happened, he went to talk to her, when she came back in she told me she would NEVER eat anything out of that freezer......and 3 months later she never did, and they moved out, and "saved" 2 male rats that had cool colors, before i could freeze them.:rofl:

There was a time when Swanson dinners was running a contest that if a big name quarter back came to your house and found swanson dinners in your freezer you would win a lot of money..
Well IF they had, they would have found, frozen fish, (passed on gold fish and the like) frozen mice, pinkies, rats, and lots of other passed on pets including a bird..
Our back yard had been frozen then flooded so we couldn't bury anything for a few weeks.

In the future, I would tell the person coming to your home, that you have a few unusual things in your freezer and to please not be alarmed.
IF they ask why, take the time to educate them.
Hope this helps. ( they may even think its nice that you are thinking of both the passed on animal (cruelty free) and the safety of your reptile).

all joking aside, a personals type section on here isn't actually too bad of an idea. We all love our babies, and we also know that maaaanny people do not! It'd be nice to have an easy way to find like minded individuals (friendly or romantic) since, quite honestly, I have met only a handfull of people that did not cringe when they heard the word "pyton".

When I lived at home I had a similar experience, only it was my mom who was not warned (forgot to ... yeah) and she went diging for the evening meal ... and found it. She didn't just run out, but I heard a lot of "WHAT THE HELL"s and "SAM! THIS IS GROSS! GET THESE THINGS OUT OF MY FREEZER!"s
