Now see, if it had been me unearthing a bag of dead rats in some guy's freezer, (and I weren't into snakes so I didn't know why they were there) I probably would have made a joke out of it to help with the awkwardness of it all. 'Prolly would have said something like, "Oh, (insert name here) how did you know rats were my favorite food?! You shouldn't have."

...But then again, I guess saying stuff like that is why most guys run from *me*.

Had something like that happen to my fathers girlfriend last Thanksgiving over here. She was helping out in the kitchen and got some thing out of the freezer and looked in the wrong container. Since then I now have written on those containers "Frozen Snake Food! BEWARE!"

Ok, I have another funny story, yesterday I had somewhat of a date. The girl is really nice so I invited her to my house for dinner. I dont no about anyone else but I keep my frozen rats in a seperate freezer than my kitchen usualy. My small freezer went on the fritz so I moved the rats to my kitchen freezer. She came over and everything was going great, she had gotten up to get some icecubes and you guessed it, she for some reason opened the bags with the frozen rats, all I heard was Oh My God, she came back to my dining room and said she had to go. The poor girl looked pale. I couldnt figure out what happened until I went into the kitchen and saw a bag of rats on the floor. Was wondering if I should call her to explain or just forget about it?

I too believe some women are just too sensitive!

I would call her & explain they are for your snake(s), and that you had to put them in that Freezer since the other one was not working.

Poor you!!! I think my friends & neighbors wouldn't like seeing frozen rats in my freezer either.

I've found that all my girl friends (seriously can't think of one!) really don't care about any of my tarantulas/snakes/frozen rats, but the guys are the ones that get freaked out about it!

I'm starting to think you're making this stuff up. This is hilarious. You don't have the best luck with the ladies. Just call her and explain that in this economy... rats are just cheaper than steak.
