Have any of you guy's ever dealt with ball boutique? Have you ever heard anything good or bad about them?

Ive heard nothing but good from him!! He frequently visits a forum that im on.:)

I know Rick used to sponsor this forum a few years ago. I'm sure if he's good enough to sponsor the forums, he's good enough to sell a snake to me!

Just don't go looking for opinions of Rick at Ball Boutique from the RDR guys.:P

Emilio, im guessing you are interested in one of his right out of the egg spiders for $800.00 , Rick will more than likely deliver a live spider ball.

Yes I am getting a Spider from Rick , I talked to him and he sound's like a real nice guy and I've heard nothing but good thing's about him.

Ball-Pythons.Net has never had ANY sponsors during the current Admins possession of this site, however, we have had many pay for thier advertising with us. Rick used to advertise on this site with the previous owner.

This issue was with this sites previous owner, its current Admin Team was put in the middle of that battle. Unfortunately, this was a bad situation all the way around, but we harbor no hard feelings.

With that being said, Rick does have some very nice animals, and I have honestly not heard one bad thing about his business or customer service.

lol, his page about bp.net on his site was how i found this place.

what are RDR's feeling about him? howcome they dont like him? i was always under the impression he was a god guy to buy from.

Rick is 'buddy-buddy' with MKRs.....that should explain everything.

I can't speak from any personal experience with Rick, except for a few emails here and there, seems like a very nice guy. I do know a few that have purchased from him in the past and were very happy with their purchase.

Rick liked to make some "not so nice comments" about some of the RDR members families... Not cool in my book.

Personally I don't have a problem with him, I've heard many satisfied customers, but also a few disatisfied individuals. I'm sure your transaction will flow smoothly.

The minions HATE MKR and there subjects with a passion. I dont hate them...I just strongly dislike them.:P

justin, i'd watch the term "minions":colbert: you really don't know who all views that forum. the guy who uses that "word" isn't looked upon nicely:rolleyes: :rockon:

LOL!!!! i know...lol... Ive seen lots of people use the term.

For some reason my deal with Rick didn't go through just lettin you guy's know.Rick was very cool no complaint's I'll just have to get my spider from someone else.

Rick comes off as a total tool in most all of his Fauna posts and he is a buddy of MKR. Draw your own conclusions. For me, it would be a no thanks!

I have ordered a couple snakes from Rick... They arrived healthy so as far as that is concerned I was happy. However, he wasn't the most plesant person to deal with on the phone, and when asked what and how often were the snakes feeding on, the only answer I could get out of him was, "well the're aldult ball pythons and they go off food you know." Which, yes I know, still didn't answer my question though. Do they feed on large rats or medium rats, are they mousers? The shipping company that was delivering the snakes was late in calling me to pick them up (totally the company's fault not Ricks) and when I called him to let him know they had arrived alive and in good shape he was rude on the phone as to "why didn't you pick them up right away?" Anyways... that being said, I have also ordered snakes from Ralph Davis, and Ralph has been absolutely great. He has taken time out of his day to answer questions on the phone with me and always been prompt to reply to an email or phone call. There have been several other big name breeders I have never even gotten a phone call back from. Ralph's snakes arrived in excellent condition and were absolutley gorgeous. I will definately be buying a lot of my snakes for my breeding colony from him from here on out.

I purchased a female pied from Rick last January. She came as advertised (pretty sure via fed ex) healthy warm and began eating the following week. I also purchased 3 male normals from him for my pet store and he sent me two normals males and 1 pastel male. When I emailed him to let him know and ask when he would like me to ship it back he told me he sent it to me on purpose.

Rick is a good guy and I am happy with the animals I received from him.

I believe any breeder who makes special prices for fresh out of the egg babies that haven't shed or eaten yet is just out to make a fast buck... but again just my opinion

I don't know what ads he has now or what you are refering to, but my pied and the males had eaten at least 3 times per Rick before I purchased them. And the price was about the same as every one else maybe a little cheaper but no great omg deal. However I am happy with my purchase and she is still doing well:)

Whatch his web site daily once his babies start to hatch and you can purchase them right after they hatch, before they have eaten their first meal and had their first shed for less money than after he has fed them... No it isn't an OMG deal but it is cheaper and I still feel that if he really cared about the animals he would be trying to give them the best start he could. Like I stated in my first post, yes my 2 "proven breeders" arrived in great shape, and the female is wraped up with one of my other males right this second with a pene in her. The male hasn't bred with ANY girl I have ran him with though, and my biggest problem was with how rude he was every time I have delt with him. Again it's all my opinion based on my personal dealings with him, and based on those dealings I will not be buying anymore animals off of him.
