Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
I've never heard of a yellow blush. Is that a morph or a description?

P.S. If anyone in Wisconsin wants to meet up and teach me how to probe that would be great. Thank You
-Andre[/QUOTE
Im from Wisconsin...but probing is nothing I know how to do.
Try going to a vet and having him/her show ya what to do.
Good to see someone else from WI!
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
It is a proven morph. It is part of the yellow blush albino morph. here is a link: http://morphkingreptiles.com/Yellow_Blush_Albino.html
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
My vet wont do it.
Edit: Also he looks different in person. I didnt have the flash on because the battery was dieing. When I get some more I will take more pics with the flash.
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino

Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Okay! I cant wait until I get my female paid off but snakes keep coming up, like I can get an adult breeding pair of normals for $300 and are proven breeders. I want to get them so bad but have to wait until I get paid!
-Andre
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Congrats Andre! I know you've waited patiently for this snake. he looks very pretty.
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Congrats on finally getting him! You must be really happy! Can't wait to see more pics!

The reason he looks different compared to another snake may be because there is a ton of variance within "wild-type" snakes.;)
With the Yellow Blush Albinos, like any recessives, the hets are going to appear as normals or 'wild-types'. So really saying he looks 'different' doesn't mean much since they aren't visible hets, or don't display "markers".
Not trying to bust your balls (pun), you've got a really nice looking snake there, and I hope he does well for you and makes some nice YB Albino babies eventually.

Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Sry,But thats a very nice NORMAL you got there.
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
No, it is a het Yellow Blush Albino. Remember, hets appear as "wild-type".
But you are right, it is a good looking snake, can't wait to see the female.

Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Actually you all are wrong! He is a homozygous yellow blush and he is het for albino! Just had to clerify that.

Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Just for you all that do not know what a yellow blush albino is all about.

I know what you are talking about Andre ;)
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Ive seen yellow blush albinos mentioned before, but are those actually blush blush albino albino, and this one is blush blush albino normal ? (homo blush, het albino) ?
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
yes it is blush blush albino normal. Again like I said It was born looking like an Axanthic. That is the best way to tell what is what.
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
I also hope to be one of the first to produce a yellow blush pastel. If not then Joe and wes will. Hopefully I will be the second.

Are you planning on breeding him to a female pastel this year? Then if you get a 100% het blush pastel female raise her up, and breed to the father?
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Well I guess I read that information wrong on the MKR site..sincerest apologies Andre. However, I would like to see a comparison of the "yellow blush" with a wild-type. Why is it that I've never heard of the yellow blush before? Could it just be considered a high yellow normal?
I guess I'm just confused because the information on their site about the yellow blush is so vague...I would like to read a bit more about it.
If you can I would really love to see a comparison photo to one of your normals.

Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Im at school right now but when I get home I will take comparison Pics to my 1400 gram normal female. Also my mom said she will get into the buisness with me so I might be Breeding to a female pastel this year maybe not. If not for sure next year. I just would have to find a big enough one soon for this year. They are a different morph. If you want to learn more about them I would call Joe. Thanx

Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
i read some of the thread i guess you have people trying to tell you that's not a yellow blush het albino either. i guess cuz some of these people have never seen one then they don't think it's possible. how long ago did you get him? what did you pay if you don't mind me asking? how much did he weigh? the only reason i ask is cuz i have one that i am trying to sell. there is also someone saying that it's not possible. thanks
Re: Yellow Blush het Albino

Re: Yellow Blush het Albino
Just a little fyi...this thread is almost three years old. The guy in question with the het blush albino sold off all his snakes and does not have it anymore. And so far as I know doesn't even come to herp sites anymore, so he's unlikely to see your posts or be able to answer any of your questions. Sorry.
