Thank you. Not sure how to do the picture thing obviously. We were told he was a spider cinnamon but when we looked into it more we kew something else was going on. After reading on here got the notion that there was pastel action going on.

i don't see either of those genes present in that animal, but we're also going off of one picture and he's all balled up. did you get him from a breeder?

Cool pattern and Colors. I don't see the Spider Gene at all. I myself dont like Spider. The neurological issues really bother me.. Anyway he is cool and looks healthy and thats all I care about when it comes to snakes [emoji4]

yep, looks super pastel to me. Most petsmarts' just label them as "fancy" ball pythons and have no idea what they are selling. Also, he can handle bigger prey - the store probably had him on rat pinkies / hopper mice or some other tiny prey item - you want something slightly smaller than the widest part of the snake (or 10% of his body weight if you are measuring). Rats are better than mice, and with food he'll plump up in to a big noodle in no time.

Looks good though, and welcome to the forum

We have him on fuzzies right now cause that's what they were using but we are going to move up to smalls. Thanks for all the info. We are noobs but love our noodle baby.
