How do I upload pics lol?
Someone PLEASE help me ID
I purchased a Dinker female who was already gravid around 6 months ago, everything was good didn't know what to expect atall so wasn't hoping for anything special.
Now after a few months and a few sheds I'm very very confused as to what these babies are.
They have been sided with lessers & mojave and are different from both so they are ruled out.
They have been to a handful of shops to try identify and nobody can seem to put the finger on what they are.
I'm fairly new to genetics so I'm hoping someone on here can give me a good indication of what they are.:cens0r:
Pictures are attached.
Many thanks in advance.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...64c316d117.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...482cc3ea9c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...beec8ed181.jpg

What morph was the father that sired the clutch?

Re: Someone PLEASE help me ID
She was paired with a 3 different males.
Champagne
Ivory
Dinker
Unfortunately the guy I got her from wasn't very helpful on who locked and who didn't so that's what I've got to work off.

Re: Someone PLEASE help me ID
Have you browsed diff snakes on morph market?? That could help. I'm kinda terrible with genes but some that come to my mind that look similar are Mojave mystic harlequin. They're certainly pretty whatever they are.

Re: Someone PLEASE help me ID
I've been looking around the net for the past week or so and the ones I keep coming across that look very similar are black lace & harlequin mojave.
It's driving me insane not knowing what they are!
Thanks! Whoever paired the parents knew what they were doing but didn't want to let on if I'm honest.

Thankyou!
Mojaves being quite a "regular" morph I'm sure the handful of shops they have been to would have picked this up having them face to face? Also when put next to a mojave they do differ.
If it makes any difference the Tops of there eye balls are metallic silver?

Many stores are not very knowledgeable to start with  and yes mojave can differs from one another even within the same clutch.
Pattern and color says mojave to the very least. Is there more? Possibly and the only way to know for sure if there is a is by breeding it.
It's hard enough for breeders to tell what they produce at time so imagine having to identify an unknown without pictures of the entire clutch nor the Dam or Sire.
Re: Someone please help ID
The mojaves I have seen have been a dark brown/gold colour where as these are black and also the dorsal colouring is different.
I understand shades and patterns can differ from one mojave to another but a mojave is still a mojave.
The shops I have been to are friends of mine and are quite knowledgeable and could spot a mojave at the least.
As for pictures of the clutch this is the clutch bar 1 "Normal".
I will post a picture of the female tomorrow to try and shed a little more light on them.
As for pictures of the sire if you read back you will notice I bought her gravid so I cannot provide pictures of them although the potential fathers are: Ivory, champagne & another Dinker.

My guess is it's some kind of dinker (note, there are a lot in there) or a yellowbelly or some kind of dinker and yellowbelly
I get a little irate at the use of the term dinker by everyone, there really needs to be a subheading for what trait/s is/are being called into question. Especially in a situation like this.
Additionally I would highly like it if breeders selling females who have been bred also gave you a log of pairings over the years, retained sperm is unlikely but possible
