    Nagini my new retic
Finally got back into a place where I can get a retic and I picked this beautiful little girl up from Bob Clark. She's got a bit of a stuck shed but that'll be easy to take care of.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2b193f2694.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7fcba53def.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5ebf32a090.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1222a4bdeb.jpg

    I love the pattern.

What is the makeup? SD, Dwarf SD x Dwarf, mainland?

    Do tell.

    Nice pickup.

She's pure mainland, but super bright it's hard to believe she doesn't have platinum in her. She's a normal, nothing super crazy in her

Pure mainland, or any locality can be extremely beautiful. You own one that is.

    Check this link.

You may find one that looks like your animal.

Interesting link, I'm not sure what locality Bob is working with. But she's gorgeous and eventually will make some beautiful babies

I figured since the model for nagini is a retic it would be a good choice.

She looks great. In my opinion the normal retic's look as nice as some of the morph Retic's.

Right? She has a lot of coloring that made me kind of think that too, but she was clearly listed as a normal on Bob's site. Either way she's gorgeous and I just could not be happier with her 😍

I love when they're tiny it's great 😂 this isn't my first rodeo and certainly won't be my last. I agree get a pied or cow if you've got the funds. If I had a thousand dollars I'd get a pair of double het albino pieds from Bob Clark. So much want lol 😍😂

You know, after typing that, i thought, i just ordered 3 AP T25s and a stand for about $2000. I could have bought a pied retic even at Bob Clark prices :D. Oh well, Caesar, Rosey and Vicky will be very happy to have bigger cages....or they better be at least haha.

I'm looking at getting a rack from animal plastics. Just haven't gotten around to it yet, my makeshift one will do until I get it... probably this next bonus check lol. I can't wait for the prices on phantoms to come down I want to make orange glow tiger phantoms. I just think that would be a gorgeous snake

Yeah i thought about breeding but i would be crushed if one of my girls had a complication and died. I'll just keep them as happy pets :)

And i needed bigger cages for Caesar and Rosey for sure. Vicky is fine in the T10 really but i just said screw it. That way i get them 3 in the T25s and then can move Luna, Gina and Rango into the T10s which they should be good in there for a few years and then stack in Dottie's T8 on top of the T10s. That will make the 3 T25s about 1 inch shorter than the the 3 T10s and 1 T8. Then I'll have 2 T8s as extra cages.

Sauzo, you will be so pleased with the T-25s. :)

As you know I made the leap this past Summer and Fall and I have no regrets and better yet; no more guilt about my snakes being semi-cramped up. Total piece of mind, no more guilty thoughts tugging in the back of my brain when I'm in the snake room. Plus I doubled down on Herpstats because I use both belly heat and RHPs. I'm so glad I spent the bucks. :)

The APs are definitively easy to assemble. They have installation instructions that are written in easy to understand layman's English.

They are easier to clean than my Boaphile which seems to absorb urates. And they seem to be as easy to clean as my old BoaMaster melamine cage.

I have already reordered once, and am now trying to decide which AP to get next.

To the OP: Great pick-up! I swear, with most snakes and especially retics, "Normal" just doesn't do them any justice at all. Plus going through Bob, you know you've got a top quality animal regardless of great looks.

To the Animal Plastics sales team (lol): Man, you guys are tear me apart when i finish Irwin's melamine palace this summer, unfortunately boards, screws, and glue are more within my budget right now, plus i want to sock away some $ for a herpstat. I figure if i'm gonna splurge on something it should be the thing that keeps me from cooking my pets.

I know you've got the color changing LEDs in your cages like mine, what size LEDs do you have? 3528 or 5050? I've got 3528 in my T8s but I'm wondering if they're bright enough to light a t25 that I'm waiting on. I may have AP cut a 10mm channel and go with the 5050 LEDs. Just don't want a super dimly lit huge cage.
Also to the OP, that is one hell of a nice looking snake. I really dig the fused/connected saddles along her back!

Yeah, they should have plenty of room with the loaded T25s. Plus the jumbo RBI hides i have laying around should fit in them too.

And yeah i picked up a Herpstat 6 a few weeks ago. Sold my Herpstats 2 normal and redline and my Herpstat 1 normal. Thinking of picking up a Herpstat 4 or another 6 later as I'll have 9 cages but only 7 snakes :)

Been also trying to sell my Pro-Line cage 4x2 with Pro Products RHP for $130 and for the love of me, I'm not getting any bites. Everyone wants AP cages haha.

    Nice looking AP arboreal cage.

Man I have no idea what model numbers I have. I got 3 cheap $20 + units from Amazon for the cages on hand. Then I had AP groove the last two units at 10mm. Then dummy me forgot to order more LEDs.

My cages showed up one week after having had 4 surgeries on my dominant arm and hand. So I had to hire a helper to help build. Turned out he was not much help and he bailed on me before finishing the T 25 and never started the A25. So I finished on my own with one arm.

The reason for the long story; since I supposedly had help I needed LEDs immediately, so I went to Loews and spent $100 for two sets which would not fit in the groove because the light strip is encased in a plastic housing. So much for grooving. :)

Lesson to all, do a better job at preplanning and order more affordable and the correct size lighting ahead of time. :)

Yeah those Herpstats sure add up. I have 5; one 6, one 4, and three 2s.

I am really surprised that your plastic cage hasn't sold. In my area it is very rare to find a 4 or 6 foot plastic cage on CL. Every now and then a 2 or 3 footer will show up.

Maybe you can do a Dutch auction where you drop the price $10 a day until it sells? Those sure are fun!

Lol screw that. I mean i dont 'NEED' to sell it. Just trying to offset the $2000 bill of the other cages lol. I sold all my other Herpstats except my Herpstat 1 Redline which i need for Luna's cage until i figure out if i want another Herpstat 6 or a Herpstat 4. Then i can work on filling the 2 extra T8s I'll have mwhahaha. Come to papa little female Pucallpa or Iquitos Peruvian and SD ultra ivory retic or sharp snowglow bci :D

I guess kind of assist, the hopper mouse was pushed down into her throat a bit where after some fighting it she did swallow on her own. She was fed two hoppers in this way and this is the only meal she's had with me since I got her.

I'm kind of surprised Bob Clark would sell a snake that is not feeding on its own. I'm assuming everything like security, temps, humidity etc are good? If so, maybe contact Bob and see what he has to say. I couldnt imagine a snake not eating on its own but also all my examples are freakin pigs who go crazy when they smell food except my BP but she is a freak lol.

I've sent an email and haven't heard back yet, I've had to assist feed in the past and the snakes went on to feed on their own. So I'm not terribly worried, more just frustrated. And yeah her temps, humidity and all are on point. I guess in retrospect this is a good learning experience for when I hatch retics myself, just like I said frustrating. I've offered her every chance to eat on her own I could think of, live, prekilled, ft, of both mice and rats and she just won't take it. So this is my last resort, I hate having to do it, but the guy I got my het ogs from has had success with this in the past. And quite good success too so I'm not throwing in the towel yet. That's a Long way off.
