I'm just curious to what people have called there Ball Python/Pythons and what reason did you call it the name for if there is a reason that is

The ones with interesting names I have would violate the TOS. Many of the others are named after Disney characters because my daughters were involved.

I try to stick to themes but always end up with a few odd ball names.
For my beepers - I started off with Jersey Shore names and now I'm onto Borderlands names (that's a video game).
My lesser is Madame LaZonga because I let the secretary at my work name her.
My banana is named "Fosters" because I am SO original lol.
I have a weirdly kinked girl named Rocky Dennis (if you know the movie Mask).
My caramel is named PS4 because that's what I bribed my BF with to allow me to bring in another BP.

TOS is "terms of service." Oddly, I got this little lady in a trade- it's a long story, but I unexpectedly ended up with a breeder-sized normal female for $35, my fiance freaked and asked me to trade her, and the guy gave me this pastel instead of the normal baby he promised because I thought she was so beautiful.

Besides the standard genetic names, I don't have any specific names for my ball pythons...except for one...I refer to her as 'Ms. Pissy', and it's has nothing to do with her attitude/personality. :P

One of my new girls is called Genees. It is Afrikaans for healing. She arrived with a partially healed burn in her belly xx

my male albino is named Yellow Lemon Lemongrab: Yellow, bc yellow; Lemon bc they're yellow; Lemongrab because i like Adventure Time and Lemongrab is a yellow character.
miss Spaghetti Marinara Noodle: Spaghetti bc that's a type of noodle, and snakes are noodles; Marinara bc it's associated with noodles; Noodle bc snakes are noodles.

i see so many people name their snakes after greek mythology gods/goddesses and other very "serious" characters, creatures, etc. i like goofy names bc i feel it makes them seem more like the cute pets they are, plus i like cute names. :)

my maybe pastel/probably a normal I named Lucky because I rescued her from some deadbeat jackwagons in the city, and because even though she's had 2 severe eye infections, a jaw infection and still hasn't eaten for me since I brought her home months ago shes hanging out for dear life.

My mojo spider rescue before he passed I called him Petey because peter parker...spider... you get it.

My lemonblast is Strudel...just because Strudel the Danger Noodle cracks me up every time I say it.

I thought I smelled more Homestucks, lol.

To date my animals are:

Arcade (super pastel mojave het for clown and ghost, named After Arcade Ganon from Fallout: New Vegas), Artemis (leopard het clown, she's not really named for anything, it just seemed like something fitting for her) Bean (pastel vanilla het ghost), Chiffon (pastel calico enchi), Eclair (enchi pied), Latula (GHI yellow belly pastel, 2nd Homestuck character), Riddle (pewter ghost, named for Tom Riddle at hubs suggestion because ghost snake), Serket (lesser bee, 1st Homestuck character), Strudel (cinnamon pinstripe), aaaaand Snickerdoodle (lesser het clown).

My vanilla male is named Tyson, after Mike Tyson. He's the "baddest man on the planet" but also just such a goofball. I mean, honestly, who wouldn't want to hang out with Mike Tyson??

My boy's name is Smaug, after the dragon in The Hobbit. It's what I've wanted to call my snake since I first decided I wanted one. I was six-ish, my dad had been reading Tolkien to me at bedtime since I was really little (they were my favourites), and Smaug was my favourite character (always had a thing about dragons when I was a kid) so the name I picked for my dream pet came naturally.

Two decades later I just got my first snake, I'm still a big Middle Earth fan and it was important to me that I was making a lifelong dream happen, so I stuck by my six-year-old self's name choice. :D





(If I ever get another, it'll be Glaurung to carry on the theme, but that's not happening because the other half isn't a snake fan and I'm forbidden.)

Emrys is from the BBC show Merlin, Circe and Calypso are godesses I like the names of, and Tessa is from the Shadowhunter series by Cassandra Clare. My cats have Japanese names, because I'm a weeaboo.

I don't have any yet, but I have 4 names lined up, and I'll pick the one that is most suitable for the BP that I get. Gumby, Pudge, Wizard, and Hoover. Those are the nicknames of my favorite baseball players of all time.

I'm going to get 2, but as one will be my daughter's, I'm going to let her name that one.

In order that I got them:

Cake- I REALLY wanted to name a pet a cute food name, and he was yellow and white like lemon cake!

Yukon- I love the landscape and nature in that canadian territory. LOL. And he is pure white with blue eyes, like snow.

Drizzle- It was drizzling when she arrived that morning.

Blissey- My first "proven female" to lay my first clutch, so I named her after the egg pokemon!

Togetic (sold now, but still)- I just like the pokemon.

I have this weird habit of quoting movie lines, and know a few people who are afraid of snakes; so this is his name.

I'm a Final Fantasy fan.

Since I have a bunch at this point I just let my kids name most of the snakes. The few I know I'll probably never sell I usually try to name something with more back story. I also have a short list of names I plan to name future hold backs.
I'm crazy for Swayze, my leucistic burm. Mystique the mystic, because I wasn't feeling creative and xmen. Happy, a 3000g Lesser I got from Dave that tried to eat my phone when she came out of the bag. Cherry - was going to stick with pie names for my pieds but she's the only one that I did. Other pieds are Bindi, Lego, Pi. Houdini is my big mocha magic guy. Kids named Batman, Twilight Sparkle, Oogie Boogie, Lasagna (she was quite the fat noodle when I got her), Mr. Bojangles, Large Marge, Wench (has an anchor shape), Guppy, Frank, Olaf, Upgrayedd, uhmmm.. about 10 more but I think the kids are catching on I'm just hiding in the bathroom..

Her name is Calypso, but 9 times out of 10 I just call her "snek" or some variation of that. I'm real creative

I named my female super pastel Alice, after Mila from Resident Evil. I always thought she was, "finer than frog hair", so, it seemed like a good name...
