My first ball python!
Today I got my first ball python after many months of planning, and I just wanted to thank the community here for all the advice and help! No doubt I will make a progression thread after my scaly baby has settled in, but for now here are some complimentary pictures!

She is an albino spider, though her spider markings are really faint so she looks almost fully yellow. No doubt after she has settled into her new home, I'll take some more pictures and start a progression thread. Once again though, thanks so much for all the help! Can't wait to hopefully spend many happy years with my new scaly friend. :snake:

Haha, I definitely will do soon, but she is in hiding now! It took us about an hour and a half to get her back home, and during the car journey she was moving around a lot, so I wanted to quickly put her into her RUB because she seemed so scared.
Definitely will be posting more pictures soon though, I am so thrilled to have her! Now it is just a waiting game to see how she settles in...
As an aside, I'm still terrified something will go wrong with the setup and she won't survive, even though I've been planning for months and monitoring the RUB for about 2 weeks. I am such a worrier, lol. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly though. :please:

Don't know whether or not I missed anything in the post, but do you have a name for her yet?

do not worry, friend. we were all anxious new beep owners once, just like you! be confident in the knowledge you've gained, monitor your setup daily like you already know how, and you'll both be just fine. i'm confident you already have and always will provide a great home for her. 😊

Marzipan :P Been dreaming of getting a female albino for months and calling her Marzipan (hence the account name, lol) so when I saw her come up for sale nearby, I knew I just couldn't resist!

That's a stunner , can't say I've seen one quite like it , either !
I've got a lovely Caramel Albino Spider but I won't hog your limelight with a pic of it :)
I have taken the liberty of uploading YOUR Albino Spider though so everyone can see it in all its glory ( using TapaTalk ) .
Hope it shows up here rather than everyone having to load up your photo from that link as it took me ages ...

If you upload using an external image hosting website such as Imgur, and you're using desktop, use BBCode. Just wrap the image url (normally ending in .png or .jpg) in [.img]imageurl.png[/img] tags.
But ignore the period in the tags, that's just to make them null so it doesn't get parsed as BBCode.

You have a beautiful snake there. I love that yellow!
I don't recall seeing one of these before.
