    Help Identifying?
I hate to be this person to ask for you all to guess the morphs of my snake based off of a photo, but I have just been stumped. Both of these snakes were said to be normals when I got them, however there just seems to be a clear difference to me. I realize I don't have nearly the amount of experience than most of you, and therefore any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated. https://www.facebook.com/SachsShackS...type=3&theater
Wasn't quite sure how to upload a picture so I just linked it to a Facebook image!

They also look like normals to me but could you post a few more pics? Ideally we would like to see their heads and bellies too.

Look like normals to me. Think of it this way, do even two human brothers look exactly the same if they are not twins? Whether normal or "morph" there will be variation.

They look like normals to me. Normals have a lot of variation and as they get older, their colors can get a little dull.

Honestly I think normals are very beautiful and don't get enough credit.

Are you housing them in the same tub?

For some reason the others are saying they are too large to be uploaded. I'll post another link, sorry for the inconvenience!

I do not house them together. It was just the variation and difference between bright and dull and also the patterns on the larger, duller one has some of the alien head patterns continually stretched across the body and everything, so I was just curious as to the complete lack of that in the smaller one together with its much brighter appearance. I definitely realize the vast amount of variation within normals, so i was just curious about your opinions.

Normal the whole way. But nothing wrong with normals. They have their own beauty. And as you can see a much larger variation than most morphs.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. Here's another question though. With this variation, how can genes like a Special be identified? They look very similar, almost exact to normals at times.

Specials are alot brighter more like a vanilla or fire. Very easy to tell from a normal if you have them side by side (at least to someone who has any experience with them) they also tend to be more blushed than normals. This link should help you see the difference

It is difficult for most people in the beginning because they do not have a baseline to compare to. Once you have combinations of genes it can become even more difficult. The good news is, it comes with practice. Go to the what morph is this section of the forum and practice guessing, and it should help a lot. None of us can identify everything. Some things cannot be identified unless they are bred. In my opinion you really cannot be positive about the some of the morphs unless you have actually worked with the gene.
