    Thanks! I'll try to get a pic of the lemon blast girl at some point. Do you think the pattern is right for a spider morph? I'm not so sure what's considered good for spiders

    Do you have a pic of yours? I'd like to see a few other lesser bees! Seeing how they progress as they age, thanks :)

    Thanks, good that I've managed to get a nice one then! What pairing are you going for to get your bees? Goodluck on hitting the odds :)

    I love the lesser bees! first male I bought for breeding. I got him at a year old, so I don't have any hatchling pics to compare, but this is him now;

    They go from cream-colored as babies to a toasted almond as adults. Very pretty morph :) I'm pairing him with a normal right now, but I have future plans to put him to my mojave and my cinnamon girls

    That's nicer than I expected! I hope next year I might be able to try breeding to my lemon blast because I would think even just adding pastel to the morph would be really nice. Thanks for sharing the pic! :)

    Queen bees (lesser + spider + pastel) are beautiful. Honestly, I would have thought that was what your boy was if you hadn't said he was only a lesser bee.

    That's what I thought as well until I started reading ... Definitely a very nice young lesser bee :gj:

    That's great then, thanks for the replies. I'm hoping it keeps bright as it ages but either way it's a good thing for me even if it colours in more because if it gets the colours of the other bee in the thread I'll be very happy! I fed my lemon blast earlier so I'll try to get some photos in a few days to show his future partner

    That's a really nice one! I like how it's keeping a yellowy colouration as it ages too, I'll try to weigh mine in a few days. I don't want to bother it too much as I'm letting it settle in, it's hatch date was 28/11/14 though so it's still very young :)

    That would be great if you managed to get a nuclear spider, I would imagine fire would make it really nice and bright. Maybe you'll get really lucky and get the 4 gene!
    Also does butter influence the bees differently to lesser or is it mostly the same?

    Nope not really. They are pretty much the same like calico and sugar. :)

    Now I try Lesser bee, crystal, lesser pastel crystal and M/L BEL (worst case 4 clutch normal males :tears:). That's my first year to serious balling and I have just four enough big girl to go. My next season hopefully more "colorful".

    I'm in England and I got him for £130 so equivalent to $200 I think, not sure if that's good or not but either way I'm happy with it. The lemon blast was £115 not sure what that is in dollars

    Thanks! That's reassuring, I don't know the prices that well but it's probably my favourite looking snake I've had. Also he just took his first feed about an hour ago, great feeding response too so it all looks good :)
