Queen bees (lesser + spider + pastel) are beautiful. Honestly, I would have thought that was what your boy was if you hadn't said he was only a lesser bee.

That's what I thought as well until I started reading ... Definitely a very nice young lesser bee

That's great then, thanks for the replies. I'm hoping it keeps bright as it ages but either way it's a good thing for me even if it colours in more because if it gets the colours of the other bee in the thread I'll be very happy! I fed my lemon blast earlier so I'll try to get some photos in a few days to show his future partner

That's a really nice one! I like how it's keeping a yellowy colouration as it ages too, I'll try to weigh mine in a few days. I don't want to bother it too much as I'm letting it settle in, it's hatch date was 28/11/14 though so it's still very young

My male bumblebee Bubo to my Butter Fire (Nuclear) girl Delilah. Hoping to hit a Nuclear Spider to hold back thanks for the luck, I want all the luck I can get lol

Some brown out and some pale/white out. Yours looks like it will probably pale out like mine

That would be great if you managed to get a nuclear spider, I would imagine fire would make it really nice and bright. Maybe you'll get really lucky and get the 4 gene!
Also does butter influence the bees differently to lesser or is it mostly the same?
