    Biggest Male BP
Hi. I would like to know the biggest male BP that you have. Mine is 2500g. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. My other adults are no more than 1700g.

I don't go any larger than small rats with my males so my largest right now is 1200 but he has been growing VERY slowly since about 900.

I only have males and feed either mediums or smalls - just depends on what I have on hand, really.

One of mine is 1200 grams, one is right around 1000. The smaller is a year old, the bigger closer to 2. The bigger one has only gained 300 grams since somewhere around April. The smaller has gained 900 since Feb. He's also teh LONGER snake so I actually expect him to end up bigger, but they're both still really young.

Is my guy just obese or something? He seems extremely big for a male.

My male is around the same size, I think he was 2400+ last time I weighed him but I've also had him over 8 years.

The previous owner said he was only like 3 years old.

Mine is 1800 grams and 4 feet. I feed a medium rat once every 2 weeks to my males. I heard if they are too fat they get lazy just like people :O

My biggest male is 5 years old and sitting at right around 1500 grams. He's had a couple medium rats over the years and a few weeks ago got a large because of a feeding day mix up, but I feed my adult males no bigger than a small rat, normally. He's a nice, healthy boy. :)

I've just got my 3.5ft boy, he's not large by any means. When I weighed him a week or two ago he weighed just over 1400 grams, and is still slim and muscular and just got out of an 8 month strike ~2 months ago. He usually gets a small rat every 2 weeks, but mice have been giving me less of a headache so he gets a jumbo mouse every 2 weeks. This batch is 40-60 grams, with just a few smaller ones.

1200 gram Bumblebee. He has more of a rollercoaster ride look to him rather than wobble...very entertaining.

Wow, either those are some crazy big snakes or mine is a peanut! Now I'm kind of worried about him...

I have a 3-year-old (according to previous owner, I've had him 1 year) male who, as of last week, was 869g and 3.5 feet long. Granted, he hasn't eaten for about a month and a half, but he has never been anywhere close to 2000g, let alone 1500!! He is healthy, has good sheds, my husbandry is spot on and he's a happy, active, curious boy. Should I be concerned at all?

As long as he isn't losing weight and in shaped well. No you don't need to be concerned :)
