Mojave pricing
I know i seen a similar post a little bit ago but couldn't find it. But what are mojave and pastave female hatchlings going for? Hoping to pick one up at the portland expo
-
At an expo all bets are off. I'd say 75-100 for a hatchling female mojave and maybe 125-175 (depending on quality) for a pastave.
-
Re: Mojave pricing
that's good to know, those prices are closer to what i want to pay but im planning on more just in case. . thank you
-
Just buy em last day, For males you could walk away with a mojave for 50-100
females 100-150 id be willing to say.
-
Yeah the bottom is out on mojos. Corbin hit it about right.
I havent seen too many pastaves for sale but on a female I would plan $200-$250.
I know if I ever get around to that pairing I ouldnt go below $200.
-
I just sold my Pastave female who was 400 grams for $225, if that helps.

I'll find out on Monday and report back :) Unfortunately for me my area is slim picking on BPs so locally the price sits about 150 dollars more then a reasonable price so I'm hoping the upcoming expo will be a different story but I still expect the asking price of a baby female Mojave to be closer to 200 dollars. I'll hang out there all day though and make some last minute offers :)

Re: Mojave pricing
Luckily its the expo is only saturday. Hopefully i will find a quality mojave at least
-
We're going to the same expo lol. I live about 3 minutes away :D I looked at the breeders that are listed on the site already so I have an idea. I know one of them has a female Mojave on their site for 350 if I recall.

Re: Mojave pricing
This will be my first expo, im driving down from washington. Excited to see everything in person
-
Re: Mojave pricing
any breeders on the list you would recommend looking at?
-
Re: Mojave pricing
You're in the Pacific Northwest? Look at Breaking Balls (Brian Breikss), SnakesRKewl (Jerry Robertson), Alan Cole Reptiles, and South Sound Reptiles (Tasia Larsen). I would recommend any of them, especially the first two goons haha :p
-
I've at least exchanged words with most of them but I've only done business with a couple local breeders plus there's another in this area that I'm surprised Mike left off since he nailed all the others lol they're Northwest Reptiles. Also, ask that question again in 5 years... BAHAHAHA

I just spent the last 6 days in Poulsbo/Bremerton area... This site needs a geo locator so us addicts can hang out...
-
Re: Mojave pricing
I try to only recommend people that I know personally or have heard really good things about. I'm happy to call Brian, Jerry and Tasia friends, and Alan has an attitude that irritates me but that wouldn't stop me from recommending him. He definitely knows his stuff and produces some hot snakes. :)

Damn you were in our neck of the woods then. Too bad it wasn't this weekend you could have hit up the expo. I wish I'd have know also because there was an AWESOME Lemon Pastel for sale up there recently. I agree with the geo locator too mostly because that's hilarious! Mike.. Ah gotcha then, that makes sense. I've been in this hobby for quite some time now, almost 2 and a half months so I'm shocked I haven't met these guys in person yet lol I know that I'll run into them eventually and will probably start buying a percentage of my collection from local breeders so it's good to hear that basically the only ones out here are cool. I'm very interested in seeing some of these collections out here in the PNW! Most websites suck as people never update them so I'm left thinking they only have a handful of snakes which I'm sure isn't the case. Have you ever ran into some one from Russo's reptiles? They seem to have some awesome boas.

@mike and alan thanks for the suggestions i will definitely have to check them out. im always trying to find local breeders
@ElliotNess i only live 10min away from Bremerton ha there should be a way to find other members that are local so everyone can meet

No, I haven't. I've never been to the PNW. Just look them up and see their BOI reports, that's a good place to start. :)
