Mya is home! :) (Vid and pics!)
I'm so excited I could pop!!
Brought Mya home today
As you will see in vid and pics I've replaced the reptibark with beech chips as the humidity was just too high (plus I kept getting little splinters in my hands from the bark!)
Vid was taken on my phone so not the best quality and I had to do it in 2 parts due to memory shortage on phone (rolls eyes)

I expected her to go straight for her hide but shes spent the last 40 mins or so just having an explore
I just love her! She's so beautiful!
I need to take Lucas my son to a friends birthday party now but I'll post some more pics when we get back of her exploring her viv. She's really inquisitive!! Didn't expect her to go round the whole viv in the first day!! Lol
I'm in love with her!!!

She is gorgeous! Really pretty snake :)
I think the setup looks a lot better with the beech chips than it did before, good job :)

A little dip in the pool :)

She was just chilling by her pool when I went up to run Lucas's (my son) bath

Now I've come down, she's up her tree again!!!
Can't keep up with her! I expected her to go straight for her hide but she seems really intent on having a thorough look round!! LOL
Hoping that's a good sign!
I just can't get over how beautiful she is!!! :D
Re: Mya is home! :) (Vid and pics!)
Well Mya seems to be settling in ok.
Came down this morning to find a HUGE poop and Mya curled up under her warm hide :)
Store owner advised to try feeding her tonight. Should I try or should I wait?

I waited a week to feed Peter, just to let him settle in. He hasn't eaten in 5 weeks though :/

Oh dear.
Hope Peter is eating again soon hun!
So when I feed Mya, if she's in a hide do I remove the hide or just dangle the feeder in the 'entrance' to the hide?

Thanks, so do I :)
That is something I have yet to figure out. I normally just wait until he is out of his hides and going on a little wander around and then dangle it infront of him. Hope it helps ya :)

I will have to give this a shot. He is due a shed soon and his temps have only just gotten perfect so hopefully he will feed for me soon!

MYA FED!!
I did remove the hide but I'll bear that in mind for next time :)
Made sure I wriggled the feeder a little more once she constricted. There was no way she was letting go!!

Back off this is mine!

Then down the hatch :)

I offered 2nd rat which she did strike and constrict but then she just seemed to play with it. Mouthing it and biting it, shifting it about, but then she lost interest. I was pleased actually as a few bits of substrate had stuck to it!!! Took it out, put hide back and now leaving her alone for a few days. Her feeding day is goin to go back to a Thursday, but Im in 2 minds whether to feed this week or leave it until the following week??
I'm just so pleased she fed! :D
