Candy the baby Boa bit me!
I'm fading fast from the blood loss.

Hope you dont have to lose your arm.
Pics of the culprit?

A tourniquet stopped the hemorrhaging.

LOL!
Think she's gonna "colonize" western Maryland anytime soon?
Ironically, her brother and sister are named for "Sid and Nancy".
[Sid Vicious]
They're all pretty nippy but I can't blame.
They're just itty bitty little things....:)
-
OMG. You might need stitches.
Does she have her rabies shots???
:D

Re: SNAKE BITE!!! [warning...gruesome photo]
You need to be very careful. I once read on a place on the Internet that was typed by a guy that new a guy that once they get a taste of human flesh they will never look back. If they don't get their needs met an army of samurai mice will decend upon mankind to feed the need.
Looks like it stings.
-
Well folks,,, This is exactly why we should let these "wild animals" be left in the wild.
Another near death experience courtesy of a vicious, blood thirsty boa.
Next thing that will happen is you'll decided the snake is too dangerous, you'll set it free in your back yard and it will go on to eat the neighbors in a few days and then breed with the rattle snake in the bushes and create a venomous constricting super snake!
OK that was just a little joke, but I am notifying Air Care as I think you need helicopter transportation to the nearest trauma center for an immediate blood transfusion LOL.
Nice looking boa BTW!!

Maybe that's funnier for me, since I work in a trauma center! Since I've worked there, we've never had a snake bite come in by medic, air OR ground. Being in SoCal, we get rattlesnake bites from time to time bit even those are usually walk ins (or limp in). Cat bites come in by ambulance pretty regularly, but that's another kind of ridiculous...

Looks like it stings.
Holy smokes, the samurai mice were just recruited a thread ago, are they already a thing? ;)

They were already among us. It is only now that they let their presence be known.

LOL!
I only felt a bump when she tagged me.
It did sting a bit afterwards but I was so busy showing it to hubby and snapping photos of it for you guys that I hardly noticed.
[wow...are snake lovers weird or what?]

SNAKE BITE!!! [warning...gruesome photo]
Might wanna get that checked out. I'm not a doctor, but i'll certainly take a look! ;)
Pretty snake!
-
I sure hope you licked the bite and sucked the poisonous venom out. Remember, lick, suck, rinse, repeat!
You may need to call PETA too, because snakes like these have very specialized care, and that they grow 18 feet long, eat toddlers, and will wreak havoc on the tropical Maryland environment!

House. The fact that I'm serious only makes it more hilarious. Oddly enough, it's not the most ridiculous animal "attack" that's come into the ER.

Not much different from life, really.
Fewer channels on cable, though.

Thanks for posting on here Slim….
I checked the "What's New" tab, saw your post, and went straight to the top of the thread.
I've now successfully liked a bunch of 2 month old posts on a necro'd thread:taz:

Am I the only one who doesn't mind zombie threads? I mean, replying to a "help, my BP won't eat!" thread from 1903 is ridiculous, but something without an expiration date is no big deal. Where's the harm in resurrecting a thread if it's of interest to you.
:what:

Ok, right off the bat, this is funny! The Force is strong with this one...

No harm at all, it's just that sometimes they get Zombied, and everyone jumps in, only to later realize that the OP hasn't been on the boards in 4 years...and was banned. LOL, I've seen it happen. I chalk some of it up to Google searches, where everything that comes up in a search engine must have happened 5 minutes ago
