All right, here's you one for the bite club (be prepared for blood)....
Brought to you by my insanely hungry and insanely growing girl Brianna. This is the one who has gone from 700 grams to 1700+ in less than eight months.

I opened her tub to feed her last night and she got so excited she just couldn't contain herself. I had the rat in my right hand, but she leaps completely out of her tub and latches on to my left hand....

    WHACK!

We did eventually get her excitement directed toward the correct target, however.
And here's the bloodthirsty beast herself....

Yes, there was a cleaning of the water dish after she got finished.

Believe it or not, she's one of my sweetest animals when there is no scent of rat in the air. Seriously.
My little monster. Thanks for looking.

My Mojave is the same way, lol
Complete sweetheart but she has launched herself out of her tub and onto the floor when the smell of rat is in the air.

Screw that. You belong in a different "club" entirely if you're keeping crocs lol

I know right? I think that's the most blood I've seen from a BP (which is probably what inspired me to take the picture :D). The only other time I see that much blood is when I feed my emerald tree boa.....

This is why I use a hook to open the tubs and hemostats to hold the food on feeding day.

    I think I'll survive lol

It would be different if I was dealing with retics , bloods, or the larger Morelia species. ;)

Same with my Kocur...my ghost ball python is a beast when feeding, but when he's not eating, super cool and very sweet and easy. His temperament is amazing, not a mean bone in his little body
