no offense to the people who already replied to this post however that could EASILY be a Fire Pin .. I hatched 5 Fire Pins this season from the same father - a Fire Pin .. the first clutch had no Pinstripes only one snake that could be a Fire Pin or just a Pin .. I was really not sure about that one .. however in the later clutches i hatched Fire Pins and Pins and it was IMPOSSIBLE to NOT see the HUGE difference between them - the snake from the first clutch was Fire Pin .. what I have noticed though is that it is very hard to tell from pictures, when you post a single Fire Pin / Pin .. some Pin blood lines are very clean and light to start with - if you compare the snake from your picture to them you could say that he is just a Pin .. the easiest way to tell what this guy really is, is if you hatched a Pin in the same clutch - the difference is easily seen .. however if you have no snakes to compare this one to, then it is impossible to tell with 100% certanty if he carries the Fire gene .. you would have to wait for him to gain a few hundred grams and see if he gets lighter

based on my experience with Fire Pins though, I would say with 80% certainty that the snake on the picture is a Fire Pin .. but like I stated above, can't be 100% sure if you have nothing to compare him to :)

The OP asked for opinions, which is what he's getting. :D

Good deal. I've never hatched either Pins or Fires, so my guess doesn't mean much. :P Do you have any pics of Fire Pin hatchlings? Would belly pics tell us anything more?

    but ofcourse :)
here is the first picture .. on it you see the first Fire Pin I hatched this season (the one I wasn't sure about from the first clutch), Pin next to him is from the same father but a different clutch .. even with the busy pattern on the Fire Pin the difference is easily seen
    http://shrani.si/t/P/13a/tjo9cIJ/fire-pin-in-pin.jpg

on the second picture if a Fire Pin from the third clutch (it looks pretty much the same as the one the poster posted, the picture is of higher quality though)
    http://shrani.si/t/1D/UI/2S6ffAhN/01...instripe-4.jpg

and the Pin on this picture is also from the third clutch (brother of the female Fire Pin shown on the second picture)

again, the difference is very visible when the picture of both pythons is taken under the exact same conditions

and here is a picture of my Fire Pin twin boys, just to show off a bit :D

If it's a Fire Pin the belly will be patternless- as are all Fire morphs I have, and can think of.

that is true, Fire Pins have patternless bellies, but then again mostly so do regular Pins .. the pattern (black stripes and dots) on the side of the belly is however much more visible on regular Pins .. a belly shot of the supposed Fire Pin would be helpful
