So, this is my Enchi girl that I finally got. She doesn't like me very much right now:

Well I took her out to organize in the tub and she was being mean so I put her down to do what I had to. Then when I went to pick her up that's what she was doing.

What a fiesty little guy. Great looking enchi though. Perfect banding, reduced pattern, and bright orange color.

Well, since you aren't shy about letting her bite you I doubt she'll stay mean long.
She'll figure out that her bites aren't working for getting you to leave her alone and that really you aren't a threat to her at all soon enough.

Thanks all. Yea I'm not worried about being bit. I've been nailed by much worse before so that's like a scratch. She's got spirit though.

For those new members I don't want you to really think she's mean because she's not. She's just scared because of her being new and me being a potentially a large predator she's only trying to scare me away.

The tail wag has usually been a sign for me for years a dead giveaway about a BP willing to bite. It's not fool proof but if the snakes hissing and not wagging the tail I know it most likely won't bite. When they wag their tail they're willing to bite. This really only goes for defensive bites and not with your hand going in the tub during feeding day lol.
