Thank you! I wish I had a telephoto lens, so I could have zoomed in more. You couldn't get very close to the big fall. It's Wallace Falls in Washington.

    .

Come visit! This is only about 45 minutes from my house. We didn't even make it up to the 3rd fall. But the second one is supposed to be the best. One mini fall, three big falls, and a river. And somewhere up there a lake. Next time we will go all the way up. I didn't want to kill my kid, lol. She did great though. :)

What about a fish eye lens? ;)

Rob, in CT do we even have mountains big enough to form waterfalls...? I only know southern and eastern CT. Aren't there mountains up in litchfield county? I've never been there, seems like a bunch of weirdos would live up there in the hills...

It was! It was like 83 that day too. We didn't see a single critter. But that's ok with me, because we have cougar and bear here. I have no desire to meet one in person. :p

Yeah, I bet that would be awesome fun. Still waiting to hear from somebody about the fit.

Ya know, and I was thinking, that would suck to live where you didn't have mountains and waterfalls, imo. :(

I am so jealous of you. There is no where around here to hike like that. Missouri doesn't have much in the way of hills and mountains. Although I have been climbing in the foothills of the Ozarks when I was a child.

That's beautiful, I'd love to go there. Not much in the way of mountains here in MN, a few small hills is about all we've got.

Doolittle - have you ever been to the Hoh rain forest? I believe it's up by Forks, but I could be wrong. I've been trying to get up there for two years now but the schedule never allows for it.
I don't think Washington gets enough attention! Where else can you see mountains, desert, a freaking RAIN FOREST, and the dang ocean without even leaving the state??

The perfect place for folks who love the great outdoors! Oh yeah and it doesnt rain as much as everyone thinks! :D

EDIT: I did forget something: The SEAHAWKS! Lol!!!

I'm too broke to pay out of state tuition or I'd be gone in a heartbeat, trust me.

I'm pretty sure not all states have out of state tuition or some will pay the out of state charges, I'm not sure if it's dependent on which state you're coming from or what but I know I've been told that.

Idk how I didn't comment on this thread before either. Gawd Washington is pretty! You're making me jealous over here. I mean Northern AZ is really gorgeous, but not around Phoenix.

It's possible to be granted an out of state tuition waiver in some cases, a lot of schools do it. Alternatively, you can move to the state you want and live and work there for a year, once you're there for a year you're considered a resident and qualify.

Its possible but not as common as you're making it sound lol. And they'll usually only do it if you're a very good student.

In the 10+ schools i seriously looked at the only one i saw that had that was South Carolina.

Lol Idk, I've not really looked into it much, I just know it is possible in some cases. I think out of state is dumb, you should be able to go to any school and pay the same.
