What Are Your Most Hated Movies?
Since we have a favorites thread, why not?

The following movies are so bad to me that at the time watched them I either felt like "I want those 2 hours of my life back!" or "I think I just became dumber from watching that."

    Reindeer Games
Rollerball (the LL Cool J version)
    Little Miss Sunshine

I don't remember the name but it was probably the first movie made by MTV. The trailers made it look like a comedy but there was nothing funny about it at all. All I remember was it was about a college kid who was a bout to flunk and discovered that there was a clause in the college rules that said if your roommate killed themselves you'd get an A in all your classes that semester. So he goes on the hunt to find a roommate so depressed that it just might happen. I felt like leaving during the first 10 minutes it was so bad. A lot of people did actually. But I had never walked out of a movie so I persevered. It hindsight, I should have left too.

Honorable mention goes to The Hangover. I didn't mind the movie itself but the pictures at the end credits scarred me for life and so I can't watch one of those movies again for fear I will see them again or something worse. .

The Blair Witch Project. I almost demanded my money back at the box office. It was supposed to scare the crap outta me, but instead kinda bored and annoyed me. It got way too much hype.

"Stepbrothers": I CANNOT STAND GROWN MEN (or women) ACTING LIKE CHILDREN. omg. I'm glad I didn't see this one in theatres. Every time I hear someone say this movie is "hilarious" or "the funniest stuff ever" I want to ask them if there is honestly something wrong with them.
"Speed Racer" (the one that came out in like 08-09): I walked out of the theatre in the first 10 minutes. Enough said.
"Epic Movie": I watched this ONLY because I worked at a movie theatre so it was free, and I had time to kill before my shift that night. I'm so sorry to the people that paid money to watch, produce, star in, or help this movie happen in any way.
"The Hangover 2": I wasted over 2 hours and $10 bucks to basically watch "The Hangover" set in Thailand. SAME premise, SAME "oh look at how wacky we were when we were drugged!", SAME "the lost guy was right here the whole time!" ending. The only difference was that the poor kid actually got hurt.

The Twlight Saga, sorry ladies but those movies were just terrible. I wasn't tired at all and I fell asleep throughout 3 of the 4 movies. How much you like it, and whether or not it's any good are two very different things. They should have just stayed books.

Bahahahaha this is hilarious. My best friend and his girlfriend LOVE this movie so much that every time they are at my house they watch it. It was okay the first time, but it didn't get better the next 100 times I had to watch it.

Don't get me wrong, I love will ferrel, but I feel like he has way better movies.

I don't think there are many movies that I truly hate.. I usually start watching something and if it bores me I just change to something else.

Maybe paranormal activity. That was a snooze fest.

Edit: OH YEAH TWILIGHT. I totally forgot about this sorry excuse for a film. The. Most. Boring. Movie. Ever. They might as well showed a single picture of Kirsten Stewart for an hour and a half. That might have been more interesting.

Anything with Kristin Stewart in it, actually. Not because the movies themselves are terrible, but she ALWAYS draws your attention. And not in a good way; she's always got this confused, "what am I doing here?" look to her... She always looks lost.

People on this thread seem to be filled with too much hate, and can't enjoy simple things in life, some of those movies I found thoroughly entertaining. Be more open minded and embrace that which makes you feel uncomfortable.

While I don't "hate" any movie, "Frogs" is by far the most boring movie I've ever seen. I'd bring my Nook along if someone forced me into a movie theater with it playing.

This trailer is pretty darn entertaining, but an hour and a half of the movie put me to sleep.

Yes, I do have movies I hate.

Event Horizon was one. I wonder to this day how many slaughterhouses they raided to make it.

Any movie that has the "Home Alone" kid in it. I violently HATE that kid. And I mean violently.

Pretty much any " too stupid to be funny" movie. These include things like Airplane, Scary Movie 10,000 or whatever number they are on now, Pet Detective, Hangover, etc etc etc. I also refuse to watch any movie that has the looser from Night at the Museum in it.

Flight. Denzel should be ashamed of himself for that movie.

Any movie with cheerleaders in it. I have my reasons.

Anything Monty Python. Yes I know it's blasphemy.

These sum up the majority of my hate list.

Twilight is in my hated list. But not most hated. Some movies that normal hate, can be made entertaining by the mockery of RiffTracks (formerly the the folks that did MST3K). Twilight is freakin hilarious with RiffTracks.

So to me to be in my "most hated" it has to be something that not even RiffTracks could make entertaining.

Stepbrothers and The Other Guys are two of my favorite Will Ferrel movies. SO many people hate him though lol. I personally find them hilarious.

I hate a lot of movies, too many to list really. I think one problem is that I hear other people talking about how great it is and they hype it up for me and then it doesn't live up to my expectations. Ted was the most recent one. The only reason i made it through the movie was bc of mark and mila.

Ted was trash. I really didn't like the voice of Peter from Family Guy being the bear... and I can usually appreciate a silly, yet not completely stupid, stoner-comedy. Ted was kind of annoying.

    Twilight, all of them.
Snow white and the huntsman (worst "motivational" speech ever?)

Definitely not a kristen stewart fan.

Prometheus irritated me. As did the latest resident evil.
Blair witch project and any other movie shot in that style.

I am also a huge alien fan, but when movies have really big holes in them it irritates me. IE: Oh look, there's a giant ship falling from the sky, it landed perfectly on edge, with zero damage and completely able to roll perfectly...RUN OMG RUN, let's run directly in it's path!! OMG I TRIPPED!!! WHAT DO I DO?! *rolls* whew!
ACK! It's going to fall! It's crushing rocks and earth everywhere I'm dooooomed! Oh look, a slight rock coming up from the ground saved me!

The story is awesome, it's just some of the overly dramatic scenes that irritate me. :P

Yeah but if you use that logic then almost all movies are gonna suck.

"Don't go down that dark hallway!!! What are you thinking!!!!"

"Double tap!! Make sure its dead!!!"

I thought overall Prometheus drew a cool connection with the old alien series. I enjoyed the special effects!!!

I'm really glad we can all agree that Kirsten Stewart is awful.

She is so awful. I think twilight would have been enjoyable without her and the sparkly vampire.

Ben Stiller is entirely too stupid to even attempt to be funny. Like it or not.

Event Horizon, it kills me I will never have that 2 hours of my life back.

Same thing with Flight. I'm still ticked off my husband made me see that in the theatre instead of Wreck it Ralph, which I loved by the way.

I also loved parts of the Shawshank Redemption. Get busy livin' or Get busy dyin'.

John Carpenter was kind of lame, in a it's been done a million times kind of way. But it had it's moments. Kind of like Zombieland. Which is to date the only too stupid to be funny movie I've ever sat through more than 10 minutes of.

I wanted to see Prometheus, until they played the commercial so many times every time I hear that sound I want to scream.

There are a lot of movies out there I won't watch because I know I'm going to hate them. And a few I've seen so many times I can say the lines by heart.

There are only two movies I ever walked out on. The first was Suspiria which I thought was too scary and gross back when I was 18, and the other was Dumb and Dumber which I thought was just pathetically stupid.

There are some movies I refuse to go to the theatre to watch, most of them being action films. Everyone wanted to go see Taken 2 one day and I was very clear about how I was not going to pay $10.50 to watch the SAME story as Taken only now with his wife involved.

Really, I felt bad for the other people that starred in the Twilight series. They really all did a great job, but with Kristen Stewart doing her best impression of a slab of concrete through the whole thing (and only coming out of it to have those strange, seizure-esque "worry-fits" every time Edward does something she considers dangerous, which is almost EVERYTHING) they just became an afterthought in everyone's "Look How Bad Kristen Stewarts' Acting Is" frenzy.

some movies just terribly annoy me, for different reasons.

i almost walked out of The Core and Ironman. if people do things that are total nonsense from a scientific point of view, then dont try to explain them scientifically. Or make it a fantasy and not a scifi movie. In The Core, the whole foundation was based on pure nonsense. And now you can even find people on the internet that believe it would put us in danger if the earth would lose its magnetic field :colbert:

what also annoys me is when some awesome character is being held back by some stereotypical dumb character that would be too incompetent to walk while chewing bubblegum. the second Indiana Jones movie, temple of doom.... throughout the movie he was either rescuing that stereotypical waste of oxygen or solving problems she created with her stupidity. And i think there is a reason why jar jar binks appears as something to chop up in the star wars-edition of fruit ninja.

Prometheus had the budget and actors and effects to potentially be a good movie, but the story was shallow and implausible, making it an overall mediocre movie. when i see a guy running away from a train and not getting off the damn tracks for extended periods of time, i feel insulted, as if the director thinks im stupid. When i see a women running for what felt like minutes DIRECTLY after she had an improvised C-section for a MAN and ALWAYS running in the strategically wrong direction so that she ends-up being chased by a starship that is just falling and not actually working.... Grrrr.
