So I was curious of what you guys thought of my new purchases....
This is the new female. I'm pretty excited. :) Her listed weight is 124 grams.

And I got a pretty good deal (I think) on this little boy from the same breeder. His listed weight is 68 grams.

Nice looking spiders. However, I have a pair of spiders and have zero use for 2 spiders in my collection.

    Thanks Ladybugz. :)

    Zero use? Why is that?

Thanks Flikky. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her. She's really bright in person!

Thanks Alkibp. I'm really pleased with the breeder. I have a feeling I'll be talking to them again in the future.

Lucky Dragon Geckos has some fantastic animals :bow:

I have a killerbee female, a spider male, and a recently picked up enchi spider boy. I don't have any breeding plans for my spider boy, but I enjoy keeping him because he eats my extra rats :D. The stingerbee (enchi spider) has a crazy awesome enchi line that I really want to put into my breeding plans, so I don't mind breeding him to the killerbee as a backup for my enchi lesser :P.

Wow, that girly is almost calico in her high white. Gorgeous pair!

I definitely love their animals. I will be stalking them on Kingsnake in the future! H00blah, I am jealous!

My next animals (not any time soon!) will probably be a killerbee.

Rea, I forgot to mention in my post and can't edit it now, but the female is also 66% Het. Albino too. :)

I'm not too familiar with how the calico looks though. I'll have to look at them again.

    But thank you!

It is a dominant gene. Breeding them together does not get you a super. After I got my female spider up to breeding size, my male spider lost his potential. I have no plans for him that she can not take care of. Once I get a 2 or 3 gene spider critter, it will be male though. However, just being a single gene the females just make more sense to me now. This is the same idea as why would you pair a normal male? Not that a pair of spiders does not hold value for everyone though :gj:

Oh, yeah, I wasn't planning on breeding mine either. I might later for some babies. But I plan on getting a pastel or something later.

I just fell in love with the female and the breeder had mentioned that they had some hatchlings that were twins. I was pretty interested in them, so they sent me some pictures and decided on this little boy. It also helped that they gave me a discount on him as a package deal.
