Finally got my cage set up
This is 24x24X14 Pretty basic set up and yes I have to clean the dusty from the aspen bedding lol. I'm not getting the snake until Dec8th....I got my herpstat1 hooked up and the acu rite thermostat. So what do you all think?

I'd try using a larger water dish/bowl and moving over to the warm side of the cage to boost humidity. Looks good though.

    Nice set up!
You can use a different substrate to boost humidity as well as the larger water dish. Coco husk or cypress mulch retain humidity really well.

You can place some damp moss in the enclosure too if you don't want to switch substrates.

just to double check, wouldn't the thermometer work better inside the cage where it can give a reading of the ambient temps as well as the probe on the hot spot? I'm not sure if you just have it out there for now but I thought I would ask.

the probe is inside the tank over the heater.

Humidity is measured at the unit itself not the probe, probe it's just for the temp.

If you want to measure the humidity the unit needs to be inside the enclosure.
