VERY happy ending Craigslist Deal

okay, so i picked up this girl last night for $50!!! she is a NERD line (HG) Lesser. the guy had bought it from NERD a couple months back and just lost interest. he guarantees her genetics and said he can get paperwork from NERD upon request. here is a picture of her. i'm sorry for the low quality (it was taken with a cell phone and really doesn't show her color.. at all haha) it makes her look dull when in actuality she is very light and bright!

oh and to boot, she weighs almost 300g!

Ah man I think I saw that post a while ago, when the guy had only had the snake for 1 month and was already trying to trade it for non-living goods. Did the ad have a video in it to show the snake? Guess he dropped his price because he was originally trying to get all of his money back...

yeah it had a video. when he ever got back to me and said $50 i was like "dude i am coming RIGHT NOW" haha

Congrats on the pick up but to be perfectly clear: There is no such thing as a Hidden Gene Lesser. You can breed a Hidden Gene Woma to any Lesser or Butter and produce a Soul Sucker.

watch kevin's video on soul suckers. he CONFIRMS there is such thing and that only his line will produce the "soul sucker" other lines just produce hidden gene woma lessers

even if it's true or not, i picked up a top quality lesser for $50 so i can't complain haha. but this video should give people a little more insight on the topic.

Killer deal hope the snake aint as hot as she looks. Lol I showed up to buy a pied once from a CL ad and the actual owner was in horror that his gf was trying to sell it. He came home sick or I would have gotten a 700g 75% white pied male for $300. Had I known I probably wouldn't have went to get it. The argument was hilarious though.

Yeahhhhhh, about that. It's called Marketing. George Sampson of Morph Madness created Soul Suckers without Kevin's "Hidden Gene" Lesser. Many other people have also.

well everything in this industry is "he said she said" and "rumors" but to back my statement up, i have also seen "soul suckers" produced NOT using a NERD line lesser and they DIDN'T create the "soul sucker". but as i stated before, whether it exists or not.. it doesn't bother me because i got a great deal on her!

Thats what I was going to say. Apparently an HG lesser is like a het. Platty... Which is actually what it is. Now my question is how do you determine a snake as het. Platty? Does it have to be of a direct lineage or can it be likes descendent? Don't mean to draw the attention away, just curious.

No such animal as a "hidden gene" lesser. Your Nerd line lesser is very nice looking and a steal of a deal. Go on up to the NE Reptile Expo in Manchester NH and check out Morph Madness's table. He DID produce Soul Suckers, and did not use Kevins line of lessers. Like I said, the whole HG Lesser name of Kevins is a marketing strategy to get people to buy his line of lesser.

There just another line of lessers.
Look at the whole daddy complex thing it makes no sense what so ever but look what can come out from the so called hets.

No, the Het Platty/Daddy gene is really NOT that mysterious, and it is not possible for a lesser platinum to carry it--ever. Het Platty is just another gene in the BEL complex, that's all. It is allelic with Lesser Platinum (and the other BEL complex snakes). If you breed a mystic to a mojave, you get a mystic potion--if you breed a het Platty to a Lesser, you get a Platinum. Breed a platinum to a normal, and you get 50% lessers, and 50% het Plattys. A Platinum is just like a BEL, or a Mystic Potion. It's a super form.

So, NERD's lessers simply cannot carry the daddy gene at all--no lesser can. Their HG Womas could, but not their lessers.

I just watched the NERD video on that, and now the question arises whether the HG Womas there are carrying another gene entirely that is not the 'Daddy' gene, but is instead another gene allelic with the BEL complex. The super form of this gene would be the Pearl, which would mean the HG Woma doesn't have a super form, perhaps? If a Pearl can be produced by breeding a HG Woma to an HG Woma 'normal sib', then that normal sib must be a Het Pearl, and the Pearl gene must be the one responsible for making a Soulsucker...which means it has to be in the BEL complex, doesn't it?

So, in spite of what Kevin believes about the Lesser there, perhaps the real star of the show is the Pearl gene? Just speculating.

pearl is fatal. so i don't see why a "sib" (in this case we are saying "het pearl") be any different.

Nerd supposedly has a surviving Pearl. It's thriving fine according to them.

I'm not sure what you mean. Pearl is fatal, but het Pearl is not fatal. Lesser/Het Pearl is perhaps not fatal?
I'm really just speculating, but it COULD explain what's going on, couldn't it?
