well 2 out of my 3 balls will let me hold there heads if need be but the 3rd one wont

i think it just depends on their amount of handling, just be slow and gentle, it should get better.

Tiberius was pretty head shy when I first got him. Now he is at a point where I can rub his head and chin. Sometimes he even let's me touch his nose. Slow and steady wins the race.

Re: head shy
Same with one of my BP girls,2 let me touch their heads, one doesn't for some reason, but then again she is a bit more timid. She lets my son touch her head, but not me :confusd:,but hey,as I say,BP's have distinct personalities

My guy was the same way. Just had to get him use to me and now he has no issues with me touching around his head. Not that I do it too often.

To anyone who thinks you can tame the head shyness out of a BP, I have one you need to come try that on...I'll have the Neosporin and a beer handy when you get done...;)
-
My normal used to be head shy, but when he was little I just touched his head a lot until he got used to it and no longer cared. When I was holding him, once he was relaxed, I would slowly touch/pet closer and closer to his head and then finally just pet his head. He'd jerk away at first, but now he doesn't really care. I'm working on my little mojo now...he's getting better.
