    Veteran Status
    Hey,

Hope I am posting this in the right section.

I was just curious as to what requirements need to be met to obtain bp veteran status.
I tried a search but all the other topics are from the last decade and I was curious as to whether there was new requirements.

    Thanks :),
    Chris.

I think it's 2 years from joining and probably has a certain post threshold you need to pass as well.

There must be a post threshold... check out my status. I was off site for a few years too.
Sorta sad when you see only 148 post in almost 6 years... I'm much more of a lurker and learner. Far from advising.

Lol I read in another thread that it was 2 years and 200 posts, with 75+ rep points, and in an earlier thread It said 1 year and 200 posts +75 rep points. LOL I was kinda hoping it was one year :\ LOL And in another one it was 2 years OR 200 posts +75 rep points haha.

I've been on a year this month lol. Oh well, It's not like I'm going anywhere so I'm not heartbroken. haha

Thanks for all the responses guys!

    Cheers,
    Chris.

I got mine at 200 posts (I was already at 2 years and had more than 75 rep points), so I know that it is 200 posts and 2 years, not sure about rep points though.

I remember reading something not long after I joined about them changing all that veteran status and such requirements. Don't remember exactly what it was. Pretty sure it had something to with a 1 or 2 year time frame. I don't remember anything about the rep points though.

It's 2 years and 200+ posts. In the old days, we also added the +75 rep points, because back then, it was HARD to build up any sort of significant rep score and if someone did, they worked really hard to earn it. When we added a rep point to every "thanks" given, it became far easier to build up high rep scores, so we removed that criteria.

I wish I had about a full week of "vacation" time with nothing to do...then I could clean out all those ancient, out of date bits of info and create all new FAQs and stuff. Sadly, there's no free time anywhere on the horizon.
