X2 as long as they eat who cares? If my snakes would eat every time I fed them up on my roof, I'd be climbing up there every week!

But don't you have to put your hand or hands into the enclosure to move them to the bath tub?

I had a similar thing happen to me yesterday. The rat was hiding inside one of Koga's hide boxes and only his tail was showing. Koga was sitting several inches away on top of his other hide boxes and went underneath the box the rat was in and got it right on the mouth. Definitely the most accurate strike he's ever had, and I don't think he was even able to see all of the rat.

Did she strike you and constrict, or just tag you and then retreat? If she just bit you and then retreated it was most likely just a defensive strike.

it tried to constrict but it was a yearling so it was pretty small
