How do I increase the humidity in my bp's tank?
I have a humidifier running right next to her tank 24/7 and I have the light right above her soaking bowl.. But humidity doesn't go up past 35%. I also spray her tank but that only lasts a few hours. Any tricks anyone uses?

Throw the tank out the window and get a generic Sterilite tub and drill some holes into it! It worked wonders for me! You can cover the mesh with a damp towel or plexiglass and that should boost it up a little bit. I know in the first month having my BP i fought the humidity in the tank and finally gave up and bought a tub though. Not as asthetically pleasing but it gets the job done and honestly my snake seems a lot more comfortable as well. Hope this helps!

Ditch the lamp and use a UTH. Make sure its on a tstat though.
If you don't care about displaying/viewing your BP I second the tubs. If you have a humidifier next to the tank, I assume it is in a less used room. If so, you can use tubs without anyone really noticing.

UTH= Under Tank Heater it is a resistive heating element that will provide the heat by heating the floor of the cage. they do not affect the air temperature in the cage so if your room gets below 75 degrees you will need more than just a UTH.
UTH's must be regulated by a thermostat.

to make a humid hide you put a moisture holding substrate such as sphagnum moss or eco-earth in the bottom of any hide. the idea is to make a localized area of high humidity inside the hide.
Humid hides should not be used all of the time because if your snake stays in it all of the time there is a high chance that your snake will get scale rot. humid hides are a great tool during shed, but can be dangerous the rest of the time.
