Compilation of Same Height Bins

Anyone else frustrated by the hundreds of browsers open in your internet window trying to find same height bins that will fit miss matched in one shelf on your rack? Maybe even replacement bins?

Maybe here we can start an organized search and listing of bins.
Lets list them by:

1) Height in inches and centimeters
2) Length, Width
3) Brand and what store to find it
4) Quart amount

Hey guys, Im looking for this specific tub but cant seem to find any stores in my area that have it. Specifically an online store that would ship them to Canada?

Tub sizes are for the Animal Plastics Sterilite racks:

Sterilite Box 1753 (15qt)
17x11x6 (15qt)

And

Sterlite Box 1755 (32qt)
23½x17x6 (32qt)

Anyone know a website online I can order these two tubs of of ? Everytime I try to google it or use a search function I can never find the exact sizes that I need.

dimensions of the 28 qt are: 23-Inch length by 16-1/4-Inch width by 6-Inch height, this would work right?

The dimensions you listed for the 1655 tub are with the lid on!!

The dimensions without the lid are: 22 3/16" x 16" x 5 1/2".

I am currently building two 28qt racks using the Sterilite 28qt 1655 tub without the lids. I measured the tub carefully to make sure so I knew exactly what size to make my shelves.

Im having an impossible time finding the 15 qt sterilite tubs. according to their website, they dont make 6" high Sterilite shoebox's anymore, only 6.5" & 6-5/8".

The IRIS tubs that I found measure:
14-3/4" x 10-1/8" x 5-5/8" h

Would this work? there would be a 3/8" gap though... seems risky though.

NVM: dont mind me.. hehe. Forgot about the lids that add space on top. I guess I'll just ask animal plastics for where I can get tubs.

I did not realize they were with lid on.

I see now that this is going to take a lot of footwork and going by the websites dimensions is misleading.

Without the lid it takes off a whole half inch. That's a whole lot of room. I am just going to keep a tape measure in my purse.

It's not really misleading if you think about it. The storage containers are typically for storage hence the dimensions with the lid on. This way people who are buying them for storage (go figure) lol know exactly what size space they need as I am sure they are using the lids.

Best to always carry a tape with you....I have one in each vehicle!!

I guess I can at least start with the ones that are exact with lids and see where that gets me. I am going to be getting some funny looks at the store.

Funny looks to be sure. The racks I am building hold 11 shelves each. Imagine the looks I got when I bought 22 28 qt tubs at once!!

Of course the same thing happened when I bought all the water bottles for my mouse and rat racks. When asked why all the bottles I of course told them I raise mice and rats. They would just give me that look like the eewwwwwww.

Again go figure!!

The Hefty Storage Solutions boxes at Lowes come in 34, 15 and 6.5 qt, all with the exact same height. I'll bring a tape measure next time I'm in Lowe's to get the measurement without the lid.

That's what I'm planning on using when I build my rack, since they're all interchangeable. :D
