What would you pair with a vanilla?
I really like the looks of this morph. What are some good pairings for a Vanilla?

A fire or another vanilla for supers so you have a better chance when you pair it with a fire down the road.

It seems like everyone wants to make the Vanilla Cremes. Super Vanillas are amazing as well. :)

I would try and do something out of the box. Maybe an Enchi?

vanilla enchi is a power house but not very good looking.
id say breed it to a good line of pastel. easy i know but they look great.
i have a vanilla ghost i am planning on breeding to a black pastel het ghost(once i buy one...lol)
not even sure what else a of yet...but he will have pastels in his future for sure.

Everyone wants to make them because they are amazing! I am going to hold off on that project though for the same reason. Prices are going to be impacted so much because of their popularity. It's just a fire and a vanilla. You can buy a vanilla female for $300 and a nice male fire for $200, as of now a vanilla creme is running $2500-3000. I doubt that will last long at all.

They are definitely what's cool right now.

As stated above, you can't go wrong with an Enchi, another snake that is incredibly cool in the reptile community, hence the major increase in price for a female.

Frankly I'd pair one up with a lesser.

Thanks for the great suggestions! I really like the visual color morphs so that vanilla cream is really nice.

I like the lesser idea too. Gives me something to think about!

Fire all the way. This is hands down the best combo for a vanilla.

I also say lesser, but I am biased. I love the lesser version of most morphs. Lesser is more!

Would you kindly direct me to whoever is selling these female vanillas for $300!

To answer OP's question, I'd get my fire pinstripe male up to size, and send him the way of a vanilla female.

Ive used the vanillas to make the brassball and this year im putting the brassballs to fire stuff. Pretty much any and every of the ideas in this post are money. You can do so much with the vanilla gene. Just like the yellowbellies it just seems to work in every combo. Good luck with your combos

Or if you don't like the Chocolate idea, here's a combo that I think is really sweet!

Too bad every one wants a vanilla female, I'm beginning to think I'll have to give my hatchling male away. :(

I have plans to try for a Vanilla Mojave this season, and next season I'll get my shot at Vanilla Creams. I also hope to try for Cinnamon Vanillas next season, and if I can find a nice female at Tinley, I may be able to expand my options. Eventually I want to produce Vanilla Pieds, to go with the dozen or so other pieds morphs.

I agree 100%....This all the way!! Sloan Reptiles new Black Cream is a very close 2nd to the Vanilla Super Black Pastel/Super Vanilla Super Black Pastel as being the baddest Vanilla combos out there!!

....but then again...I'm all about the Black Pastel combos, so I could be a tad bias......
