Re: First bp...need help!!!
give him time to adjust to his new environment. if hes going into shed bump up the humidity a little to around 70%. dont really handle him for a week. hope it helps
Re: First bp...need help!!!
The short and quick breathing is stress related. Young baby snakes will do this when they are stressed.
Re: First bp...need help!!!
I moved his light above half of his water dish and put two damp towels on top of his screen so to keep moister and humidity in...it's been about and hour and he seems to be exploring his tank more and his breathing has calmed down...thanks for the advice
Re: First bp...need help!!!

Needs to be regulated with a thermostat, it will get hot enough to burn your snake

Not accurate at all, digital is better, walmart about $12 for an accurite;)
Re: First bp...need help!!!
His undertank heat mat is the smallest one they make...it says it eats 1-5 gal tank...I also have a ok layer of coconut bark over that spot...I check it every night but will make sure to pay close attention...I'll go to walmart tonight and find an accurite... Thanks for help and suggestions.
