    clutch #1 2011
It looks like my buddy and I got our first multi-sired clutch and I'm liking what I see so far.
9 eggs from a 1700 gram 07 virgin normal female who was bred by my fire male and his yellowbelly male.
    I think I see 4 fires, 3 yb's and 2 normals :D
I hate to say for sure till they come out, but to say were excited would be an understatement.
This is my partner Jason DeSeranno's first clutch and he did the whole thing starting with breeding and ending with incubating and I think he did an outstanding job with absolutely no issues.
He has one more girl that the fire sired due to drop her 8 or 9 eggs within 30 days, so more fires to come!!
Better pics to come after they emerge.

The male Fire who helped sired the clutch

The Yellowbelly male who also helped, lol

Looking sweet Jerry! We'll be talking once they get out :D I need to get some clean YB girls if plans go through on a male Specter. I might be interested in a Fire girl too.

    Regards,

9 eggs from a 1700 gram first time breeder is an awesome clutch all by it self. How much did the clutch weigh?

    Nice odds on the clutch.

That is one heck of a good looking fire male there. You should have some purty babies.

We were quite impressed too, the female was a slow grower and is an 07 but she blew us away with such a large clutch.
The eggs weighed 865 grams if I remember correctly.

I'm pretty sure there is both fire and yb's, I'm just not sure of the exact count of each.
We had to leave after the cutting and I won't be back until they after they come out as I'm in the middle of a move.
Pictures when they are out for sure :gj:

    Thank you.

I learned a hard lesson about breeding small males.
He started breeding at about 550 grams and went off feed and dropped to 450 grams before I pulled him from breeding.
He took a month to get back on feed and then I made the stupid mistake of letting him breed again.
He went off feed again and never ate again.
I was going to start force feeding him the day he passed :(

    RIP Flicker :tears:
