Too Cute!!! Lizards can find the most awkward positions and sleep like a log. I wish I could too!

You may think that looks cute but its a sign your husbandry is way off (well that and the aspen bedding) A Sav that sleeps in its water bowl is telling you its enclosure is not meeting its humidity/moisture needs.

well that is good to know....do you have a care sheet for the OP or a link to one perhaps to help him out!! ;) I personally know nothing about them...other than how a nibble feels.

I don't want to see this turn into a battle ground, but it is a cute picture. However, you should read up on a good care sheet. I would suggest switching your substrate right away though, a half dirt half sand mix works great.

Come on, give him a break. All he wanted to show was these cute photos, no bashing needed. Just send him a PM of what you want to say, not hijack his thread.

Very cute little guy, he is just too adorable! I love it when little lizards close their eyes, they are just so adorable.:D Good luck with that little guy, he is just way cute.:)

I am pretty sure there was no one "bashing" him. They were trying to help him and his pet out. That's actually completely opposite of "bashing".

One person was getting a bit too into trying to point him into the right direction. Just don't need another monitor thread to turn into a bashing, hijack thread. It happens plenty of times from what I've seen. The OP was just trying to show cute photos, the person could have just sent a PM.

Anyone think to ask if that was his permanent setup or if I had him in that setup temporarily while I was getting another one setup? No. Right away, people complained about the aspen without the facts.
BTW, that was also a tub in a rack. Thought the photo was cute so I took it right before I bothered him and moved him to his permanent home.

Elaborate? Is bob another lizard? You made him a bed?

Or are you referring to a loved one such as a husband or BF? lol..
