Awesome finds Daniel. I especially like the Rough Green. They are usually hard to spot, but it looks like you found that one. I like the angle on the Speckled as well. I still need to go out with you one day.

I have come across a rough green two weekends in row now......Hopefully the trend keeps up. Both were seen crossing a gravel road.....If I didn't drive 5 mph, I would have never saw them.

The speckled made my day.....it was long and plump.

I have not been 'looking hard'. Most of my pictures from this year are from the roadside and/or other easy access areas....I am lazy.

Anytime...just give me a hollar. I usually go out to Pearl River Wildlife Management Area every Saturday morning...

...PRWMA also has gun range....ha ha.

    Yep! Pearl River, Louisiana.

I spotted probably the nicest speckled I have ever seen this morning....look for that to come in a thread soon :)

Canon Rebel XSi with a various assortment of lenses. For wildlife stuff, I mostly a 70-200 f/4L and a 100 f/2.8 Macro. Best two lenses for wild reptile photography in my opinion.

There are alot better cameras out there.....but none that I would feel as comfortable running through the woods after a snake with.
