    What would you do???
I'm thinking about pairings already and a couple of them are tuff to decide on thought maybe I'd make a poll and see what you guys think.

Pastel x pastel, Het lav x pastel or Cinny x pastel????? Thats if the het lav is ready.

I don't have a super pastel but have pretty much decided I can wait on one. Pewters are alright for me, Now a poss het female pastel makes my toes tingle this is where I'm leaning. Pastel lavender albino is an amazing animal.

Make super-pastels. Hope for a girl AND a boy. While they're growing up, you can always make pewters next season.

I think the pastel Lav Ralph made is incredible and I would start that project. You just have to hope for a nice sized clutch with lots of females since you only have a 12.5% chance per egg of hitting a female pastel het lav. The odds are not great, but for me I would go for making something that not everyone already has.

Ehh, That's the boring way. Take a chance. It will be be worth it when you see that pastel lav poking out of the egg.

Depends of whether you're a risk taker and if your het lav albino is ready. . . .

I'd make the super pastel, hope for a female, begin growing her up. Then next year when you're sure your het lav is ready, breed him to the pastel. Move on to breeding him to the super psatel female the next year if she is up to size late in the season while you're growing up your pos hets.

If you go with the het lav, you can't breed anyone else to the girl. You need to know that every egg was fathered by the het lav. So if he isn't ready now, I would make supers and try for next year like Alice suggested.

    I would get more girls.....:D

Despite being a great fan and collector of ball pythons with recessive genes then I would recommend super pastels. They work the same way like a recessive - all of the offspring in your case would be pastels. :)

And then you could invest some money in an axanthic and create some pastel het axanthic - that's great at least in my world.

    Re: What would you do???
I'd do pastel x pastel and hold back any super pastels that you get. Then sell off all remaining pastels and normals and start raising a bit of funds to get yourself another het lav. Aim for one a year older than the current year. Cuts down on the wait time for breeding. Then breed any super pastel you have to any lavs you get and make a bunch of pastel het lavs. Then breed those and aim for super pastel lavs. Done and done. :gj:

    Re: What would you do???
I would probably breed both the cinny and pastel males to the pastel female and maybe you will have more luck than I ever do and you can get a super and a pewter in the same clutch! Otherwise you could just be happy with whichever one if either shows up!
