Re: looking for a snake loving girl
For the record, I can say that a quick skim of the "since there are so many female keepers" thread proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there are some SMOKIN young ladies running around this place. Sadly, I can't say I've had the pleasure of meeting Liv, Anna, pyrate, or the other femmes who have taken part in this thread. Oddly, I haven't seen pics either, cherry stem or otherwise...
On a helpful note, someone posted the mustlovereptiles link earlier... Wow. I was bored, so I clicked. I honestly thought there was a mistake. I made sure to search MALE seeking FEMALE the second time. I'm still a little scared.

I've talked to a few girls from here. Even met some. One has become a life long friend.
Actually met up with a girl today to pick up a snake and I could feel myself get nervous like a teenager and blushed because she is really beautiful and exactly my type. I don't normally get like that around girls

Methinks you should invest in another of her snakes soon. Tis the season... or, ya know, I imagine you have her number now, so there's that at least. :p

You should try dating the chick in your avatar. Face ain't nothing to write home about - nothing a could wax and a shave couldn't go a long ways towards fixing - but she's got a nice rack and good wide birthing hips.

Here's a tip for Cecil:
I've been married for a long time now.
My wife does not like reptiles. She puts up with them because it makes me happy.
My wife likes to do bike centuries. She belongs to a women's bike club that goes up Mt. Diablo every week.
I hate road biking.......and if you thing snakes are an expensive hobby you haven't seen how much a good carbon fiber road bike is fully decked out with quality components. Or how much those little spandex outfits cost. But I foot the bills without question because I know it makes her happy.
Sometimes you don't have to have a hobby in common to make things work - sometimes having individual and separate hobbies is a good thing. I've known couples whose love of reptiles was not enough to keep their marriage together, so go figure.
I count my time with my animals as a needed break from my wife and kids. It allows me a little bit of time every day to get a healthy space from them, and I'm positive my wife views cycling as the same for her. I don't know if personally, I would enjoy my hobby as much if I had to share it with someone else.
But hey - that's just me.

For the record, even a NOT SO GOOD carbon fiber bike is going to cost you more than my car. Trust me, that's not an exaggeration. Skiploader brings up an excellent point, though. You don't need to go scratching around for someone who shares all of your interests. As an example, my girl HATES guns. All guns. A couple years ago, she had a few thousand dollars worth of custom work done on my .45 as a Christmas gift. What made that so special to me is the fact that she was willing to compromise something she felt strongly about in order to do something special for me. Call me a romantic, but that's better than a shared interest any day.

Re: looking for a snake loving girl
My boyfriend games. PVP stuff online, not so much WoW anymore but things like Guild Wars 2 the like. Personally, I think a bunch of it is a waste of money, but if I know he wants a new game or a piece of merch, I try to get it for him before he does.
Now, James does like reptiles, but my snakes don't impress him. He's more into water and mountain dragons. He bonded pretty closely with my Rankin's, when I had her. So he likes the four leggeds. However, while he would rather have one critter and give it all his love, he understands that I am passionate about breeding someday and supports that. So even within the hobby, there are different priorities to have, but as long as both parties respect that, there's a solid foundation.

It's not easy for us female keepers either.
I'm almost certain the other 0.1's can chime in & say it's hard on our part too! Most men I've come across give themselves 10 feet between my BP & themselves. Are grossed out by feeding. Run when I open my cricket bin. Get squeamish when I handle worms. They think my bearded dragon is as dangerous as a Komodo. & they swear up & down my frog will give me warts.

Well I have a solution for all of us. I'll have to double check before I post anything but we could always be our own matchmakers on here.

I think quite a few of us men still are. Too bad you live in China!

From what I've observed, Chinese people aren't generally fond of snakes unless they're in meal bowl. :(
That's what they tell me any way haha.

Just make sure the snake in the bottle is, in fact, dead. I'm too lazy to look for it, but there was an article posted here recently about a woman who figured that one out the hard way.

For ever? What's in China? Let's see a picture out your window. What's it like there?
-
Probably not forever. At least for a year and we'll see from there. I have to see how a few things pan out to see if I'll stay longer.
I teach there. I live in a rural village with no other foreigners in really rural Hunan. It's difficult at times and no one speaks English (not even in the capital city) but I wouldn't trade such a unique experience for the world. I'm seeing the real China. The impoverished rural China. The China that the government doesn't want foreigners to see. Love it.
Outside my Windows there's just my balcony (it's barred), some palm trees and ugly run down buildings.
I'm on my tablet right now, so I'll post some pics later.

How's the pollution where you are? I took environmental science last year and found out a good portion of China wears masks and has poor visibility because of all the coal burning. It was listed as worse than America's pollution problems from the industrial revolution up through the first half of the 20th. Though China is starting to if not being forced to clean it up.

It can get pretty bad, even in my super rural town that's 3 hours away from the city.the city can get absolutely brutal, at times as bad if not worse than the North (ex Beijing).
It's not only coal burning, but that's a huge part of it, which is why it gets worse in the winters. Also car pollution, crop burning pollution and mass construction pollution all put together.
But don't be fooled.the government isn't doing squat about it. There's a reason 2013 was the worst ever recorded year for pollution. I think 2014 will be worse.
It's hard to describe what heavy pollution feels like physically unless you've felt it. I've been unable to breathe after outings in the city and it's scary.

He was, he said to himself, wondering just what SHE must be thinking of all this dibbing of her quite capable person without the forethought of asking HER what SHE might think, providing that we preclude this little run on on the premise that women think, which, really, is debatable in general, but not in this specific instance as those of us attempting humor, know quite well. There, that should have covered all the bases.
