Very cool... I eventually want something non-BP, and have always loved the brighter colored snakes like milksnake, kingsnake, etc. Maybe a Honduran will be my next addition? :)

And the post-shed evacuation? Hopefully that doesn't go in your hand as well...:weirdface

I've assisted in sheds and I've seen my snakes shed. I think it's really cool to watch, especially their belly movements trying to slither out of the skin.

Yes I've caught a few of my snakes shedding. It's neat watching. I had one (my corn) start his shed in my hand. Very neat to have that happen.

LOL, this thread is over a year old!!!

i assisted with a shed ONCE, and i got most of it off, but couldnt get the eye caps off...

switched to tubs, and now i always find the shed rolled up in 1 piece in a corner somewhere.... covered in fecal matter -_-;...

I've witness 2 so far, the last one from my 5month old BP, I have a 20 minute video of it, but it's kinda dark and the sound is not very apealing... The video is too long for youtube.

Maybe I could edit the sound off, but Im not sure with what... never tried video stuff before. and I would still have the problem of where to upload it. Any sugestions??

    Thanx!

Yup I've walked in on a shedding many times in my years of keeping various reptiles, though snakes are always the best to watch :D
