Re: Motorola Droid release 11/6/09!
I still have my Motorola RAZR V3xx.
Works great even when dropped, thrown, stepped on. I don't have to worry about babying it. I can toss it onto the counter or my desk and not have to worry. :D
A phone is to be able to talk to someone else IMO so I can't see paying all this money for a gadget that has a operating system and features that will be obsolete in less than a year.

the keyboard looks like there would be a problem typing because the keys look flush with the body of the phone. Might be an issue for someone with bigger fingers to hit 1 key at a time.... Maybe not, iv'e never seen one in person.
Ill stick with my black berry for now :)
If only they made an iphone with an actual keyboard, that would be the best phone ever!
Re: Motorola Droid release 11/6/09!
Big Gunns checked out the phone tonight. Big Gunns is gonna wait until the the geeks that gotta have the new phone on the market give BG their opinion on it. BG does listen to what geeks think sometimes.;):D
The only thing BG didn't like is that the US version takes no sim card. BG needs one that does so he can use it on his top secret missions.:D
Re: Motorola Droid release 11/6/09!
BG, I do agree, no sim card sucks. Then again, my entire family is on verizon so it makes it very easy for me to keep in touch with them without using minutes.
So far so good though. No hiccups to report of. Everything is smooth and snappy. Even though the app selection isn't too great, I have a feeling it will grow exponentially in the next few months, especially with more android phones going on the market.
I am very impressed with this phone. It is much better than the G1. It is a sturdy phone and doesn't feel like its going to fall apart. The hard keyboard is a little tricky, but the on screen keyboard is wonderful. The autocorrect and predictive words are great tools.
