Curently unemplyed, laid off because business was too slow.:( now my job is looking for a job.
I was a housekeeper, before that for 10 years I worked in the food sevice industry, at every fast food place you can think of. I hated it!:mad: then I made more doing housekeeping, but now I'm sittin on my butt waiting fo at least one call from the 30+ apps I put in in the last month.
Also I breed snake food, I enjoy that:)
Me and my hubby make a few bucks with some on line stuff.

I would make my hubby do it, but he won't because he knows how much i hated it. I need to find a job that lets me be ummmmm, well I don't know how to put it nicely, so I'll just let everyone else figure it out.

I am currently working for my Dad at a feedstore. I do lots of things there, I will work at a show barn( they have some superb horses there, world champs.) this summer doing the above with my current job.

I am the Quality Control Manager at a precast concrete company, but with this economy it is only a matter of time before I am unemployed

It depends on the company. But some of the better ones start off between 10 and 12 an hour.
Offshore is better in all respects, if you are willing to travel. I believe the food guys in the gulf of Mexico are making about 14 an hour, working 164 hours in two weeks, then having two weeks off.
I am not sure how travel goes for the food service guys. But me starting off as a normal roughneck I will be starting at 19 an hour, and they pay my airfare too and from the rig (from NC to the gulf coast).

I'm a full-time student. I used to work for USC's(South Carolina) regional campuses doing IT work and now I work for the campus gym supervising the intramural fields...So basically I sit outside at night and watch people play soccer :tears:

Dang, LOTS of different and cool jobs!
Im a full time student for Auto Collision Repair, worked as an auto mechanic for 2.5 years my last two years of high school threw an early release program. Didnt finish HS got a GED and after several months of being outta school decided to go to college. And I do custom truck work on the side to get my name out there. Lift kits, stereo systems, performance mods, that kinda stuff.

My brother teaches ELA at USC. :)

I am the CAD Manager at an engineering firm. I am in charge of the group that produces plans for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing designs, as well create models of building systems.

My primary job is an elementary school teacher...current teaching fifth grade sciences and maintaining a classroom zoo! by night a jack of all trades master of none doing many small odd jobs to pay for the reptiles :)
I also give local talks on reptiles and general animal care.

Nuclear security officer. I love my job. Its stable and its recession proof. The hours are terrible but the pay and bennefits cant be beat. And it pays for my hobbies. Motorcycles and reptiles.

New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-D) professional, not volunteer, recently got terminated (it was bs, I left work to be with my dad who was hospitalized and put in intensive care)
Family business is restoring art by minimalist artist donald judd, my families business produced the originals of his design in the 60's 70's and 80's... been in artforum magazine 3 times now, we do work for mostly big museums and gallerys, some private collectors...
Being 20yrs old with the responsibilities of someone double my age SUCKS !!! LOL

Account Manager at a local swim school. Audit accounts, bug test the system, help develop the system, keep the books, prepare them for taxes, blah blah blah. I hate it and I dislike the ethics of the owner. I'm trying to hang in, as I have 8 weeks until my last class is finished and I have a Bachelors in Social Ecology with an emphasis on Enviromental Analysis and Design.

I'm a Program Coordinator at a state psychiatric hospital. I have 41 patients who are all here for some type of legal involvement (Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, Incompetent to Stand Trial, and/or Megan's Law Registrant). It is NEVER boring!
