But..but.. We did. Everyone did. He knew since last thread that A PEWTER IS A CINNY X PASTEL. Everyone replied and gave them their best answer. It just wasn't instant gratification and involved him learning the answer for his question AND THEN SOME. Frankly, I seem to get hotheaded quickly over ignorance and am probably heading down the negative path as far as reputations go...but I will answer a million questions if the answer is received and implemented. I will always get frustrated if I watch someone get spoon fed answers but they refuse to pick it up/learn.
I agree with you that he shouldnt be "spoon fed answers" and i think he should learn on his own, like i have said a couple times along with others...
we did inform him that a pewter is a pastel x cinny but by his question on is there something such as a "100%" pewter..... it sounds like he was asking about the 100% part in this thread.
yes he would learn that it isnt really possible if he started reading about genetics and all but he saw it somewhere and was curious
I think people on here get a little too fired up from noobs on here sometimes. This is the first time ive seen HIM ask for all these questions. BUT then again he should have read more carful and he wouldve got his answers. I believe in second chances...
I think the OP should speek up and defend himself+ clear things up, i feel bad bashing on him when he probably meant no harm.

Isn't this forum MEANT for ASKING QUESTIONS?
Stop getting fired up for no reason. Your putting yourself down to the same level by doing so.

Re: Is There Such Thing?
thank you "The Viper House"
to the OP:
i dont think you have much room to :colbert: us right now....
Go re-read the things i said in your other thread, i said there couldnt be a "100% pewter", and told you why, along with giving you more options to start learning your genetics so you won't have to ask these types of questions again
if your going to ask questions and you happen to be new and not know a whole lot, it might benefit you to read what people say and if you dont understand something, ask in a polite way and give respect to the people who are taking the time to answer your questions

yes it is but when you ask for a bunch of simple questions that he can easily find on his own, it does get a little frusterating. Instead of just handing out the answers we tried to put him in the right direction to find the answer on his own, so he wouldnt always have to rely on the people on this forum for simple answers

if you really want in this hobby you should seriously read up on stuff for at least a year and then decide what you want to buy when you have a bit more understanding of what you want to get into ..just my opinion
WOAH!WOAH!WOAH! "consider finding another hobby"??????? Whats your problem man? Just b/c he couldnt understand the guys answer doesnt mean he's not going to be able to understand genetics! And then your basically telling him to go learn about genetics..... Do you realize what your saying? I think he is trying to learn about genetics by asking questions, dont you think? I mean c'mon, the guys obviously a beginner, and you were once too, you werent born knowing genetics, were you? So never turn people away from this beautiful hobby for silliness like that! Your on a Reptile Forum! People come here to ask questions like that, so they can learn!

Here's day 1 with BP Expert. title: "What morphs should I breed"

And this is where he became a subject expert:

this is where said subject expert hatched 9/10 spiders...with 7 of them being female.

You know what, you are absolutely correct. It is a place to learn, grow and expand your knowledge and love for your hobby, whatever it may be. It is not a place to have people think for you.

Dude...just go look at the kid's other posts, and understand that he is a beginner who knows everything and refused to learn anything about what he asks.

Yeah, it can get confusing with who made what, way back when (if that makes sense). NERD is correct, though. Graziani was the first to produce the Pastel, Cinnamon, and the Pewter (Pastel Cinnamon).
