Yeah, I'd just change out the bit of substrate the next day while snake is a snooze. This method seems complicated, stressful for the snake and obviously a risk to your fingers. It's not gonna be so cute when he does it at 2000g.

I won't repeat what everyone else has told you, but if you're worried about the pre-killed rat's excrement coming out while it's being constricted, maybe you can squeeze some out yourself before giving it to your snake. This may alleviate at least some of the mess it's made.

Also, if the snakes get rat pee/blood/poop on them, do i have to clean them even if they just ate or is it really not an issue to wait the two days? Again, Im very sorry if i was rude and ignorant before, i care for my animals and i always say that if im doing something wrong i want to correct it to give them a good, stress free life.

As regards the substrate issue I just put a few pieces of card down over the substrate and I've never had any problems at all ..

Those little pieces of card found in boxes of chocolates / biscuits are useful but any card is great of course .
