Last night I had him on my shoulder while looking at the computer and he was stretched out trying to get into the couch (to go down one of the separations in the cushions - you know, it looks like a little cave to him!!) but still had his tail wrapped around my hand. He's not as brave as I would have thought but he is getting better and more adventurous all the time.

Lol wait until you take your boas outside and have to try and get them off rain gutters or nearby tree branches. They can be a pita if they decide they don't want to do something lol. I love my BP girl but my boas are hands down my hang out buddies. They love to come out and hang out on me. My BP likes to come out too but she is psycho and wants to explore everything while moving. She doesn't like to really sit still unless in her cage.

As others said, you will be fine handling even a big female BCI. My fiancé handles our 7 ft lipstick albino female all the time alone without issue. It is really nothing like handling a retic or burm.

Very good bit of wisdom. I think a lot of people struggle with this!

My suggestion: switch focus. Spend free time on unrelated sites.

Current obsession is getting the garden in.

My personal theory is that for long term wants - the cosmos does provide. The things I really want WILL show up...unexpectedly, and sometimes in bizarre ways.

So, you will get your boa, when the time is right. Just be patient. :)

OP: Hopefully I should have a litter of lipstick albino BCIs in the upcoming 6 months. Would be more than happy to give you a fair price on the pick of the litter.

You will like boa's. I usually take one of mine boa's to work with me. My hypo boa likes to hang out on my desk. He's just a couch potato. Are you located in the USA. If so send me a pm, I think I may be able to help you get your boa. Send me a pm and I will give you more details.

Unfortunately, no, I'm in Canada. Thank you though! It was sweet of you to offer to help :)

This 1000x, lol. My super sunglow girl is actually pretty cooperative, but my hog island boy will purposely grab onto something if he realizes I'm trying to move him. It's his way or the highway.
