What he means is, tell us who the breeder is that took you for a ride.

Joseph. I don't want to give his last name because it'll ruin him. But he lives in Cincinnati. Breeds a lot of pieds as well. He is giving me most of my money back- I decided to keep my banana for what he is, so I can't get all of it back. We'll have to work something out.
He isn't a professional breeder with a website, so I don't think anyone with half a mind will get into trouble with him again but just in case, you can find him under Banana ball python in Cincinnati, Ohio craigslist. I don't think I had half a mind when I bought the banana. It was the first odd looking banana he produced and was convinced it was spider.
He really is so convinced that it's a spider he's willing to trade me a text book looking banana spider. I just don't even want one at this point. I love my animal and prefer to keep him. The other option would be full refund but I don't know. I feel so stupid after all of this, decisions are a bit hard to conclude.
Another odd note, he loves trades. So I think a lot of people are safe. Well, actually I don't know. I thought I would put that in there.

No problem...I was just curious. I still don't see how anyone could mistake that for a Banana Spider but whatever...

Re: Finally gave in... Ittsy bittsy spider was not a spider.
I think he was mainly confused because of the coloration difference. I was completely new to bananas so I really had no idea. I had a spider, but thought it was somewhat variable depending on what it was mixed with and how it would eventually come out. The gene I mean. I am very new to genes.
In any case, my fiance is a trucker and is gone for weeks at a time. And I am beginning to notice I tend to make most of my terrible decisions when he first sets out. Because one of the first things I did when he set out for 5 weeks was buy that banana.
Sigh. Consequences.
Edit: But other than the hassle and embarrassment, misinformation and misrepresentation, waste of gas money and time, it still is a beautiful banana.

So full refund, and you keep the snake? how much $$ do you get back if you keep snake? How much money do you get back if you trade him that for a normal banana?
Aswell, out of all his banana's are they all males? If so your's has the male maker gene

You need at least 2.5k refunded. Hope you get it.

I really haven't worked all of this out with him, yet. Lol, I am trying not to make these decisions when my partner is off driving in Texas. He's a better negotiator.
And he is a "male maker" banana, you are correct xP

Thank you very much. I plan on it. If something cannot be worked out financially, my partner will probably just have me consider full refund. Even though I really, really like my animal :(

There are plenty more out there from reputable breeders. Reward one of them with your money. Not the crooked one, all that does is encourage his behavior.

This!
And as many snakes are pets, they usually dont grow on us like dogs, if i paid 5,000$ for a English bulldog with championship blood line, and 2 years down the road go to breed him and he gives me chiuaua's .... Yea it'd be harder to get ride of him!
