You guys are killing me! I mean it, your killing me!

Ok, so the next show I go to, I'll be looking for BCI's. Maybe if I pay close attention to the baby snakes, I'll find a morph one. All the bigger ones I see are just standard color.

    Yay!!! Success!!!

Gale, some morphs really ARE that expensive. The Raptor, fairly new here in the US, is fetching about 5000-8000 depending on coloration and the super is well over 12k. BUT there are many morphs that are much more reasonalble. Albinos are in the 200 range, sunglows are running around 400. I paid 600 for Pandora, but she's also arabesque and her albino gene is the coral line which gives her that beautiful pink hue, plus she's a possible super arabesque so that adds to the price as well. Anyhow, hypos (pink and orange) are gorgeous and even less than albinos at around 140-180 and anerys (black and silver) run around that too. Combine hypo and anery and you have a ghost which will push up around 300. Snows (solid white) will be around 600.

And that tub size you mentioned will do fine for a baby through juvenile. And they do grow slowly. My 2 1/2 year old Argentine male is still in a 41qt tub in my BPs' rack (although I do want to move him into his 4x2x2 by fall - so he'd be about 3yrs old when I do that). And actually, I think that tub size you have is bigger than the 41qt??? If so, it'll do fine even longer. You'll know when he's outgrown it, but if you start with a baby it'll take a while. :gj:

Just admit it, you've crossed over!!! :D
