Day 4
Today we left the little one alone since last night she ate. We figured it would help keep the meal down if we left it by itself for a day. However due to not wanting the mites to get worse since they are currently almost non existant, we made the decision to clean its tank. thus... I got to hold it.
Being 10:30 at night, the little ones pupils were so large the entire eyes looked black, and clearly it felt like being left alone... and by that I mean it looked like it wanted to have me for dinner.
Fortunately i got the snake out of the enclosure without being bitten, however it tried to strike at april when she stood up. Neither of us expected it, but tonight went smoothly, we built a second smaller tub and sprayed it with PAM and are letting it air dry tonight, we'll move its location tomorrow and then pam the other enclosure, and then when its air dried, switch it back to that one. this way mites won't stand a chance and the problem is taken care of in a reasonably easy fashion.
