Best thing I can think of is to look on a local ebay or similar to see if there is anything like that on there.

Otherwise find the countries that use the same electricity levels as you do and look at their ebays or herp shops.

I had flexwatt shipped from the US via USPS and it was a bit of apain as there were customs charges but it was nowhere near the figure amazon quoted you.

But you need to have sourced a thermostat first as you can't use them without one with your ambient temps.

What voltage levels and freq are your electricity supply?

i give up searching heat mat.. the only option i have now is to use red basking lamp.. is it ok?

the lamp shld i put outside the tub.. or inside the tub..?

humidity levels is high all round in my country so im not afraid..

I use a heat lamp sometimes, and a UTH others

And when I use the heat lamp, I find it hard to keep humidity DOWN. its at 76% atm needs to be 70 - 73. So dont be worried. Also yes I am using a tank.

Depends on how big your water bowl is i guess, Cuz mine is huge so my snake can sully soak when she wants

A red basking bulb is fine but it may be a little odd to use it with a tub. Those bulbs get pretty hot. I would definitely leave the lamp OUTSIDE the enclosure though.

If your humidity is already high then you shouldn't have much of an issue. Belly heat is preferred but there are plenty of people who use lamps just fine.

I am still curious what country you live in? It much be pretty obscure if Amazon is charging that much for shipping.

Edit: If you are using tanks and lamps, I think I would just stick with that. Plastic tubs might not play too well with a lamp.

I agree with all this

But you COULD seitch to a tub if you had a UTH.

A tank and a bulb/UTH combo works, or the lamp alone can work

BUT make sur its INFRARED. or else it will disrupt your snakes day/night cycle. Also dont get a high wattage for a small tank. I had a 100 watt for about 1 day with my 20 gal and it was far to hard to control

Downed it to a 50 and im not having any problems now. So just be careful with the wattage you buy and how big your setup is.
