Re: Corny, my adopted corn snake
today i asked the previous owner when the last feeding was and i was told over two weeks ago...so tonight was his first feeding with me! he choked the mouse fuzzy down without missing a beat!

corny weighs 60g as of the other day.

with the few short handling sessions i've had with him, i can say corn that imo corn snakes are almost the exact OPPOSITE of beeps! when i'm near the enclosure checking things, he comes right out to see what i'm doing; he's usually out in the mornings when i wake up; they're quick little buggers! it's been so cool to recognize the differences between him and my pythons. i've only had him a few days and i'm just so happy with him.

Corny enjoyed his first longer handling sesh. Zoey was unphased as he borrowed in her fur while she relaxed; she couldn't care less. she ignored him.

he is a good boy. 😊
zoey is a good girl, too.
(if you're worried about snake + cat: she is very old and just wants to nap. i do not recommend cat + snake to anyone as it is not safe for all involved)
